Finalewatch: 'Moonlight' Right here, right now

By Jessica Paff

May 16, 08:41 PM

It seems that instead of listening to my brilliant plan regarding the first ever shirtless television show, CBS has decided to cancel Moonlight. Which means tonight may be the last episode, especially since the higher ups over at CBS recently squashed the rumor that the CW was interested in picking it up. Of course, there's always... 'Moonlight' and the case of the potential grandson

By Sarah Jersild

May 09, 11:11 PM

Alexoloughlin_moonlight_240 You know how we tell kids not to be afraid of the dark? Moonlight teaches us that's a really dumb thing to do. Sometimes, the vampires are the least of your worries. Continue reading »

'Moonlight': Josef and the sleeping beauty

By Sarah Jersild

December 14, 11:09 PM

Jasondohring_moonlight_240 Heartache, heartbreak and heartstake -- that's pretty much what the vampires of Moonlight had to look forward to this week.  I'm telling you, there are days when it hardly seems worth it to get out of the refrigerated storage unit. Continue reading »

'Moonlight" Unhealthy love

By Jessica Paff

November 23, 09:43 PM

Shannynsossmon2_alexoloughlin2_moon Tonight's episode of Moonlight felt like a season finale. Or at least it would have if they hadn't revealed the final 2 minutes of the show in the first two minutes of the show - a device that this series has tried twice now and tonight didn't work for me. 'Moonlight': The case of the undead psycho killer

Sophiamyles_alexoloughlin2_moonligh This week on Moonlight, Mick and Beth take on an undead sociopath described as a cross between Kurt Cobain, Donald Trump and Charles Manson. Continue reading »

'Moonlight' Return of the living undead

By Jessica Paff

November 09, 07:56 PM

On tonight's Moonlight, we saw a much darker Mick than we have experienced before. Well, to be perfectly honest, we saw a much more mentally unhinged Mick than we have seen before, and he was not in the mood for any light banter. I missed the witticisms, but I have to admit that it made for... Continue reading »

'Moonlight" Addicted to love

By Jessica Paff

November 02, 08:05 PM

Sophiamyles_moonlight_240 I have to say, that for a show that started off on the bottom of my enjoyment, riddled with story inconsistencies, questionable camera work, and flat characters, Moonlight has really been coming to life for me these last few episodes. Poor pun intended. Tonight's episode saw Beth covering a fashion photo shoot, much to her chagrin, which turned more interesting when one of the models collapses into a seizure and dies.

'Moonlight" Sometimes you get what you need

By Jessica Paff

October 26, 07:40 PM

Alexoloughlin_moonlight_240 A lot has happened in a short time on Moonlight. Mick revealed himself as a vampire to Beth and last week he even ended up having to feed from her (hot) after wandering through the desert (also hot, but in a completely different way). The show has been slowly reaching its stride and I'm starting to feel pretty optimistic about its progress.  The episode tonight had less inconsistencies then ever, and another fantastic ending.

'Moonlight" Undead at hotel California

By Jessica Paff

October 19, 08:07 PM

Cast_moonlight_240 Moonlight has been slowly improving each week, though the inconsistencies still grate on occasion. As of last week, Beth not only knows that Mick is a vampire, but he also told her that she is the only human he has ever trusted to tell how he was made.  The charming wedding story just gives me more ammunition to not get married. I don't want to become a vampire!

'Moonlight" Freezer burn

By Jessica Paff

October 12, 07:47 PM

Alexoloughlin_moonlight_240 So, Beth knows Mick St. John is a vampire, but I still don't know how I feel about Moonlight. I felt the pilot had too much information crammed into its hour and resolved too many stories that could have possibly been interesting, and the second episode did the unexpected by revealing Mick's nature so early as well. All the same, I am curious where they take us this week, so let's get to it!

'Moonlight" Film at eleven

By Jessica Paff

October 05, 07:47 PM

Shannynsossmon_alexoloughlin2_moonl We're back for a second dose of Moonlight and I'm still a little bummed that I wasn't able to fall in love with the pilot since ... well, it was like an awkward first date. The kind where your best girlfriend has talked up the guy as smart, charming, funny and handsome and when you go out to dinner he immediately gets some spinach stuck between his teeth, so you spend the whole date unable to notice if he is smart, charming or anything else because you are too distracted. We're on the second date, Moonlight. Please don't order the spring salad.

'Moonlight" Forever might

By Jessica Paff

September 28, 08:22 PM

Alexoloughlin_moonlight_240 Interview with a Vampire, Blade, Underworld, Angel, Buffy ... vampires are a popular subject and CBS is trying to bring a new take on that subject into our living rooms with the premiere of Moonlight. Which could have just as easily been called Sunlight, since our heroic bloodsucker can tolerate all kinds of light without even breaking a sweat (though he does get a tummy ache apparently). Do vampires sweat? Either way.
