Finales
Finalewatch: 'Desperate Housewives' goes out with a bang
Finalewatch: 'Moonlight' Right here, right now
FinaleWatch: 'My Name is Earl'
Tonight was the My Name is Earl, hour long, season finale. In my mind, that makes it a time for reflection, a time to look back at all that the season had to offer and lament that Earl spent 90 percent of his time in jail or in a coma.

'The Office' Finale: Hello, Holly
Wow -- that's a whole lot to process from the season finale of The Office: A farewell to a beloved (by some, anyway) employee; a proposal; an arrest; a baby; and Oscar nominee Amy Ryan talking like Yoda.

Finalewatch: 'Supernatural' They rocked faces
You know, there was a part of me that didn't think the writers for Supernatural would go this far. Maybe I am too naive and trusting for the CW. But I am getting ahead of myself. Let's start at the beginning.

Finalewatch: 'CSI': Exit Warrick
With only minor exceptions (Greg moving from lab rat to investigator; Sofia popping in for a bit; Ronnie Lake's cameo), the core CSI team has remained intact for the past eight seasons. Eight years. Even with annual contract disputes and William Petersen's desire to broaden his horizons, the core team remained the same.

Finalewatch: 'America's Next Top Model'
Well, ladies (and Gus), the time is nigh. The time when the heavens open up, choirs of angels sing, a plume of white smoke rises and the voice of God - you thought God would sound more like Charlton Heston than Tyra Banks? silly of you - proclaims 'America's Next Top Model'.

Finalewatch: 'Brothers & Sisters'
Brothers & Sisters closes out the season with a wedding, some confrontations, several revelations, plenty of uncomfortable moments, and one particular retconning, butt-covering doozy of a plot twist.

'Big Brother: 'Til Death Do You Part' Finale at last
It took 81 days to winnow the original 16 house guests on Big Brother: 'Til Death Do You Part down to the final two of Ryan and Adam. And now it will take another hour to get to what just about everyone feels is a forgone conclusion.

Finalewatch: 'Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious'
This is it. The moment you (may) have been waiting for. We finally get to learn who made the group on The Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious. Booyahkah.

Finalewatch: 'The Biggest Loser'
The live finale for The Biggest Loser is kind of bizarre, as it's basically two hours of people stepping on and off scales. They could easily do this in an hour (or less), but they choose not to. Still, it's great to see how people look and how they've been doing.

'Rock of Love' Final Elimination
It's been a long hard road for the girls on Rock of Love 2. Of course, I use the terms "girls" loosely. HA! Loosely! My goodness, what has watching this show for two seasons now done to me?

'Make Me a Supermodel' Finale
Tonight we came to the end of the catwalk on the first season of Make Me A Supermodel. It's a show that has grown from the first few episodes, which were rough at best, to become another of Bravo's polished reality line up.

FinaleWatch: 'The Celebrity Apprentice'
It was finale night tonight on The Celebrity Apprentice. That means that Trump, who had already made his decision about who was going to win, hemmed and hawed and pretended like he hadn't for two hours. More importantly though, the finale was back in Studio 8H in Rockefeller Center (home to Saturday Night Live), a place it hadn't been since the finale of the first season. Unfortunately for me, I wasn't sitting in the studio audience this time around like I had been for the first finale.
Finalewatch: 'Randy Jackson Presents: America's Best Dance Crew'
After weeks of popping, locking, flipping, ticking and general awesomeness, we get find out the winner of America's Best Dance Crew. Finally, something worthwhile on MTV.
Jericho: Finale
Jericho ended the series with a bang, capping off what may have been the most successful long-form civics lesson with a generous helping of whiz-bang action, kick-ass characters and intriguing "what if" situations.

'The Wire' finale: Same as it ever was
The finale The Wire delivered bucketloads of resolution, but even in the midst of all that, nothing much changed. Which couldn't be a more appropriate ending for the series.
'Project Runway' Fashion Finale
Tonight, the fourth season of Project Runway came to a close. Unlike seasons past, our final three this time around engendered little in the way of drama off the catwalk.

FinaleWatch: 'Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles'
This was it, tonight we found out just how the first season (and hopefully not the whole series) of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles was to end. Okay, so it didn't so much end as leave us with a disappointing cliffhanger.

FinaleWatch: 'American Gladiators'
It seems like just last week that we were sitting here, putting on our spandex for the first time in 15 (or so) years and watching the brand-spanking new American Gladiators.

Finalewatch: 'America's Next Top Model'
After a not-so-long cycle of lectures by Tyra, increasingly absurd photo shoots, and varying levels of fierceness, it's finally come down to the final three girls on America's Next Top Model.

Fall Finalewatch: 'Heroes'
If this is the last Heroes we're going to see for a good while, then well done: I'm going to care whenever the show does make its return.
'The Bachelor': The most dramatic post-finale reunion show EVER
Last night on The Bachelor: The Most Shocking Rose Ceremony Ever in the History of the Universe, which resulted in the WORST FINALE EVER. It was a total slap in the face for everyone who's been bothering to watch all season, and fairly cruel the way Brad led Jenni and DeAnna on.

Finalewatch '07: 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia'
Folks, it's going to be a cold winter without It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Sure, this season had more episodes fall flat than the previous two, but we also got some great moments with the McPoyles and a hilarious incestuous marriage.
FinaleWatch '07: 'Californication'
Without giving anything away, dear readers, was the last shot of Monday (Oct. 29) night's Californication finale supposed to be a happy one or vaguely ghoulish?

Finalewatch: 'Damages'
Tuesday's Damages finale walked a line between wrapping up the season's central mysteries and setting up a potential second season. Well, it didn't so much walk the line as paint it across the episode about two-thirds of the way through.
Finalewatch: 'Mad Men'
It seems fitting that a show about advertising would end its season with everyone involved trying to sell an image of themselves -- as family man, as young go-getter, whatever -- that didn't quite jibe with reality.
Side Order of Life: Either true love or completely delusional
And so, dear friends, we are gathered here today on Side Order of Life to celebrate the union of this woman, Jenny, to this mysterious voice on a cell phone -- but not before secrets are revealed, identities are confused, heroes are unmasked, sweet monkey love is made and then regretted, a Vegas wedding is narrowly averted, and psychiatrists are revealed to be eeeeeevil. Can I borrow someone's hankie? I always cry at two-hour season finales.
