It was finale night tonight on The Celebrity Apprentice. That means that Trump, who had already made his decision about who was going to win, hemmed and hawed and pretended like he hadn't for two hours. More importantly though, the finale was back in Studio 8H in Rockefeller Center (home to Saturday Night Live), a place it hadn't been since the finale of the first season. Unfortunately for me, I wasn't sitting in the studio audience this time around like I had been for the first finale.

After weeks of popping, locking, flipping, ticking and general awesomeness, we get find out the winner of America's Best Dance Crew. Finally, something worthwhile on MTV.

Jericho ended the series with a bang, capping off what may have been the most successful long-form civics lesson with a generous helping of whiz-bang action, kick-ass characters and intriguing "what if" situations. Continue reading »

Folks, it's going to be a cold winter without It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Sure, this season had more episodes fall flat than  the previous two, but we also got some great moments with the McPoyles and a hilarious incestuous marriage.

Tuesday's Damages finale walked a line between wrapping up the season's central mysteries and setting up a potential second season. Well, it didn't so much walk the line as paint it across the episode about two-thirds of the way through.

It seems fitting that a show about advertising would end its season with everyone involved trying to sell an image of themselves -- as family man, as young go-getter, whatever -- that didn't quite jibe with reality.

And so, dear friends, we are gathered here today on Side Order of Life to celebrate the union of this woman, Jenny, to this mysterious voice on a cell phone -- but not before secrets are revealed, identities are confused, heroes are unmasked, sweet monkey love is made and then regretted, a Vegas wedding is narrowly averted, and psychiatrists are revealed to be eeeeeevil. Can I borrow someone's hankie? I always cry at two-hour season finales.
