Cherylhines_larrydavid_curbyourenth The big question heading into tonight's Curb Your Enthusiasm season finale is whether or not Larry David would end up getting back together with Cheryl, his estranged wife. At least, that was my big question, the show did not, however, provide an answer.

Larrydavid_curbyourenthusiam_240 Yeah, Larry wanted to go scuba diving and biking in Europe. That's what he told Cheryl tonight on Curb Your Enthusiasm, but I didn't buy a minute of it (and I hope you didn't either). How desperate was this man? He even applauded how much bartenders make in tips. Let me repeat that: he said he was okay with how much bartenders make in tips, and tips are over and above their base salary.

Larrydavid_curbyourenthusiasm_240_0 Our good friend Larry was clearly having issues tonight with having been left by Cheryl. Right off the bat, Auntie Rae gave him a hug and he got more than a little happy below the waist. Larry claimed that he can afford five seconds of contact before he becomes involuntarily aroused, but I don't believe that was the only factor at play here.

Larrydavid_cherylhines_curbyourenth There are times when I simply can't abide what Larry David does. I know, I know, I have been pushing all season about how nice this guy is, but tonight we really saw some of the man's issues come to the fore.

Larrydavid_curbyourenthusiam_240 Larry David is a study in contrasts. While it is true that everything he does goes awry, sometimes it's just really not his fault. That's right, I'm sticking with my weekly "Larry is actually a good guy" theme. Because, guess what, Larry is a good guy. He's just misunderstood.

Curbyourenthusiasm_2007_240 Without revealing too much of myself, I must tell you that I felt a certain kinship with Larry David during tonight's episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm. During a portion of tonight's episode Larry David has to drive John McEnroe around town and things take longer than expected. Mac meanwhile, only wants to make it to the Staples Center in order to see a Paul McCartney concert.

Larrydavid_curbyourenthusiasm_240_0 It is no secret that I think both Larry David and Curb Your Enthusiasm to be exceedingly funny. As much as I'd like to meet Larry David, if he is anything in person like he is on the show I don't think we could be friends.

Curbyourenthusiasm_2007_240 As this week's Curb Your Enthusiasm opens, Larry and Jeff are discussing the death of Marty Funkhouser's mom, who happened to get hit by a car in her wheelchair. The conversation is cut short though as Susie walks in, and demands Larry offer her condolences for the death, because, she claims, she knew the mother better than Larry did.
