Finalewatch: 'Burn Notice' goes out with a bang
Car chases? Check. Spycraft? Check. Double-triple-quadruple crosses? Check. Great lines? Check. An opportunity for Michael to act out? Check. One hell of an ending? Mega super duper check. Burn Notice ticks off all the boxes with this summer-season finale. Why are all the good shows ending just as the new TV season is just getting started?
'Burn Notice': There but for the grace of mom go Michael
This week, Burn Notice demonstrates the difference between a bad-ass and a bad guy. A bad-ass knows how to identify a covert operative, scare the crap out of a civilian and stop a dump truck in a spectacular fashion. A bad guy just kills people -- and likes it.
'Burn Notice': Michael the meek
Michael plays a couple of unaccustomed roles on Burn Notice this week. First, he poses as a harmless wimp to lull some bad-ass criminals into underestimating him so he can track down some stolen pharmaceuticals. Then, he plays chaperone and buzz-kill to his mom, trying to keep her away from a bad influence.
'Burn Notice': Meet Michael's mini-me
Burn Notice is normally compelling enough to make me ignore any elements that might cause disbelief. Big guns? Huge explosions? A constant array of family friends who need help? Michael's infinite skillset? I can buy that. But Michael's Mayor Quimby-gets-brain-damage Baaaahstahn accent? Oh, hell no.

'Burn Notice' and the perils of micromanagement

'Burn Notice': In Soviet Russia...
I can only imagine that it is bad news to be involved with any mobster outfit, especially those featured on Burn Notice. If you somehow get lucky and happen upon those who can truly help your cause, thank your lucky stars.

'Burn Notice': The One With The Bad Investment
Most people are too smart for a straight-up con, but as we find out on tonight’s Burn Notice, not everyone in the world is blessed with enough common sense to survive the slick middlemen they happen upon.

'Burn Notice': Worst. DEA Agent. Ever.
No, Sarah hasn't been burned. Yes, she's off on a secret mission. This week, I'll be your Burn Notice handler. Like Carla, tall and dead sexy (but, you know, male).
Premierewatch: 'Burn Notice' back with a bang
Burn Notice is back, and all is right with the world. Well, not for Michael's world -- he's consigned to being the ass-kicking errand boy for some mysterious voice on the phone, but it's right in my world, because Michael's discomfiture is loads of fun to watch.
