I'm on pins and needles about who is going to be crowned the winner of America's Got Talent. I sincerely wish they conducted tonight like the Top 5 of the Miss America pageant. Bring them out, make them hold hands, announce the 4th runner-up, hand Neal E. Boyd, Opera Singer his bouquet of roses and then shuttle him offstage while he cries. Repeat. Wouldn't that be awesome?
I hope you aren't expecting a recap of President Bush's address. I'm way too excited about the Top 5 on America's Got Talent to pay much attention to him; he sort of sounded like the teacher from Charlie Brown to me. Who do you think will win it all guys? I'm rooting for Nuttin' but Stringz, but let's see how the performances go. Jerry welcomes us and we get a recap of how each of the Top 5 made it there. The plinky-plunky strains of dreams and hope play. Doesn't it just tug at your heartstrings?
We're back tonight to find out America's Got Talent's Top 5. And I don't even need the crappy clips on the website to help me tonight! I honestly don't know who is going to make it through but if either Eli Mattson or Nuttin' but Stringz get eliminated, I will be very upset.
Alright guys. My tape of America's Got Talent was mysteriously blank (I should know how to work a VCR by now, huh?), so all I've got to go on are the highlight clips that NBC posts. I apologize for my less-than-full recap, but here we go anyway.
