'America's Next Top Model' recap: Hellcats
First things first: Alexandria still sucks. Now that we've established that, let's move on to the challenge. The girls break into teams of three to film a Cover Girl webisode. Each team is comprised of one writer, one director, and one "talent," with the roles being picked randomly. While two of the teams work pretty well together, Molly, Monique and Alexandria have some problems. Problem number one is that Alexandria is a pain in the ass. Actually, that's the only problem. She once again exhibits her bossy ways, and then gets very dramatic when called on them. She also does not get any points for repeatedly saying, "I'm the talent." Monique shows a surprising amount of cool, calm, collectedness as director and gets special praise from Jay, but ultimately it's the team of Kasia, Brittani and Mikaela that wins. Back at the house, Alexandria continues to freak out about weird stuff, like someone possibly taking her towel. The other girls wonder if she's bipolar or just a b****. We learn that Alexandria has a somewhat tragic backstory. Her parents split, and abuse played a part. She had to grow up fast and take care of her siblings, and so developed into the control freak that she is today. She wishes that the other girls understood this about her. Well, then tell them! God. While Alexandria is on the phone with her boyfriend, Monique decides to take a peek in her diary to see if she's talking s*** about everyone. Alexandria's diary seems very easy to find, which is a tremendous oversight when living in a house full of bitches. Monique finds that there's no smack talk in the diary -- just musings on how sad and alone she feels. This makes Monique feel like an ass, and rightfully so.
In this week's photo shoot, the girls are transformed into fashion animals at the old L.A. zoo. They're wearing pieces from Rachel Zoe's faux fur collection, and get to pose with an adorable and feisty jaguar cub. Hannah is amazing and gets the best photo of the week. Brittani and Jaclyn are also particularly great. Kasia and Monique are not so much cat people, but stay safe. Alexandria hisses at the cat and gets an interesting if not fashion-y picture. An uninspired and weave-traumatized Molly lands in the bottom two along with Dalya, who just hasn't been delivering. Molly is the true victor not only because she gets to stay, but because they're going to rip whack weave number two out of her head! Sorry, Dalya.
