'Big Brother 12': Hayden and Kristen fight back
Fireworks abound on "Big Brother 12," as the bombshell of Hayden and Kristen's relationship reverberates through the house.
Previously: Matt is an idiot, Andrew was evicted (but not before outing Hayden and Kristen's secret showmance), and Rachel won HoH.
Andrew's Bombshell
Although we saw some fireworks at the end of Thursday's elimination episode, tonight we find out the war of words started way before that, with Hayden confronting Andrew while everyone else was voting. Nice! That would have been a lot more interesting to watch live than seeing people unanimously evict Andrew, don't you think? Kristen and Hayden completely deny everything, with an impressive conviction considering they are lying through their teeth.
Rachel is HoH, Part Duh
As soon as Rachel wins HoH she immediately goes after Kristen, and the whole thing devolves into a ridiculous fight. Everyone who isn't Kristen or Hayden is loving the drama. The most absolutely STUPID moment comes when, after the fight peters out, Rachel gives Kathy a hard time for hugging Kristen and Hayden. Because apparently Kathy is only allowed to hug her? I don't know. But I do know Rachel sucks. For real. I can't even get into the crying she does later to Hayden because Kristen is "mean." UGH. Kristen, for her part, displays some severely poor strategy but blatantly not accepting Rachel's apology when it is offered. She later goes to the HoH room to talk things out, but is the damage already done?
The Brigade of Fools
The Brigade spends a moment reflecting on how inept they are as an alliance (truth) but does say that if Kristen and Hayden end up on the block together, they are golden because Kristen will likely go home.
Shameless Promotion Alert!
The houseguests are brought into the living room (by Rachel in a skimpy cop outfit) and who should appear on their flatscreen but Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg, promoting their new buddy cop comedy "The Other Guys." Will is appropriately into it, but Mark looks like he'd rather be dancing to "Good Vibrations" in his Calvin Kleins. The reason they're there? The winner of the upcoming luxury competition gets to see a sneak preview of the film. The competition is a cop-themed team obstacle course. The testosterone-fueled trio of Hayden, Enzo and Brendon tear through the course the fastest and get to see the movie.
Nomination Ceremony
Despite her uncertainty earlier in the episode, Rachel does what everyone expected and nominates Hayden and Kristen for eviction. I may not like Rachel, but these are intelligent nominations in a season full of dumb moves.

- "And you're so smart because you have a chemistry degree? String a sentence together without using the word 'like,' will you?" - Hayden, to Rachel
- "I have been waiting a month for people to fight, pull hair, pull extensions. And I'm not even a religious person, but I've been praying for this moment." - Ragan
- "Rachel is a complete ho-bag. Seriously, girl, you are straight-up jealous of me and you have been since day one." - Kristen (Ding ding ding ding! We have a winner.)
- "If Hayden wants to get a little nookie on the side, that's fine by me. But if it interferes with The Brigade, we have a problem" - Enzo
- "'Who wants to see my HoH room?' Nobody. In fact, we'd rather hang ourselves. But guess who's most excited? Me." - Britney (Amazing delivery on this one. This girl could be on a sitcom.)

Rachel is as confrontational as every other girl there. She's louder, but no more of a b***h than the other girls are behind the scenes. She's a good person, and there's no reason to call her a "ho bag." In reality, she is the one dominating the game right now. She has no reason to be jealous, but the other girls sure as hell have reason to. Go Rachel! (And Brendon, please put a leash on her before she explodes again.)
Britney already has a sitcom. It's called Hannah Montana... Get a good look at your future Miley Cyrus!
Rachel has done nothing to deserve all the bull she has been getting since day one. I hope Kristen goes home. She is two faced biotch!!!
I give credit to the BB producers they did a great job of showing the fight and what people were thinking in the diary room sessions its episodes like this that make me watch Big Brother
I dont see any reason Rachel would be jealous of Kristen.
I mean Kristen works in fashion, not to be mean but that doesn't take great brain power, and yes chemistry does require some intelligence.
Rachel has won 2 HOHs. Kristen has won NOTHING.
Rachel has had a huge target on her back and has manged to now survive 5 weeks. Kristen had a little target on her back and is now on her way out the door.
Though I did love her crazy eyes when she said "I am not going anywhere" LOL.
And Hayden just looked scared when Kristen and Rachel were fighting, it was a "oh crap, I am so going to be on the block"
I am team Rachel in all this. While she and Brendon are stupid for their showmance, at least they are honest. While Kristen and Hayden are liars, who are not that good at it once they are caught.
Ears... hurt...
If there was ever any doubt before, Will Ferrell career is officially over
Rachel & Brendon for five weeks put up with a majority of the house gunning for them...while Rachel wins HoH...Brendon wins the PoVs...great team.
Kristen and Britney...ugh...two face little boeches.
Kristen and Hayden go under the gun for the first time and and Kristen Crumbles!
My wife and I are totally pulling for Brendon and Rachel at this point...We really don't like any of the other people much with the exception of Lane...he's just a good ol' boy.
My problem with Rachel isn't that she's a good player -- she is, and good for her. My problem is her persecution complex. You can't start a showmance that is an obvious alliance from day one and NOT have people gunning for you. It's just how it works. And then to have the nerve to get so upset over it? Ugh, I have no patience for that.
Also, honestly, Rachel is a bit jealous of Kristen. She's obviously jealous of all other females because she is insecure. That doesn't make her a bad person, but it does make her unpleasant to watch. Needless to say, others might see it differently.
I don't watch the feeds so I'm only getting part of the story, I know. But the part of the story I see makes me hate Rachel. A lot. But hey, what would the summer be without me hating on a Big Brother contestant? Boring, that's what. ;)
I have to admit that I LOVE Britney. Her comments make the show. Her and Lane are great. Is Kathy even playing the game? Matt is an idiot. He had a chance to get out the power couple and didn't. Kristen reminds me of a rabid ferret. CREEPY!!
