'The Hills': Lutz get it started

Kristin and Bartender Stacie meet to get their hair did before a party at Chez ShePratt. They gab about Audrina's weirdo flirting with JB the other night. Kristin -- whom, I might remind you, has boned JB -- says she thinks he's the one for Audrina rather than the Gel-lo Puddin' Pop. Speaking of stupid oafs, BS asks if Brody will be in attendance at the party tonight. Kristin says he is and that they've reached an understanding. The girls gloat over the same refusal to commit that messed with Kristin's mind just a few episodes back. They agree that McKristin'sPlaything is in over her head and that no one girl will ever change Brody's playa ways.

Elsewhere, ShePratt and Audrina shop for some more clothes to match their spray tans. ShePratt asks if Audrina's bringing Hair-man Munster to her birthday party. Audrina says that he's out on tour and admits that she's kind of enjoying her freedom. ShePratt says she'll also be flying solo because her pro lacrosse player guy friend Max is away, too. She wonders if Brody will bring JB to the festivities. Because they're such good pals and totally observe the same grooming practices?

Across town, Lo and McKaela sort through cosmetics at Smashbox. Lo mentions ShePratt's party and wonders how things are going with Brody. McDreamOn says she hasn't talked to Brody in a while because she wants respect. Lo gently warns her that Brody's not used to women who actually have self-esteem and/or brains. Jury's still out on whether McKaela has those things. Lo says overly kindly that she thinks Brody will end up with "a girl like" her, she just doesn't know if he's ready for it yet. Oh Lo, have you yet to learn that subtlety is a fool's way?

That night, the gang assembles for ShePratt's sequintastic birthday celebration. Brody and Sleazy T jokingly carry in Frankie as ShePratt's gift. And Holly's even there! With any luck, she will dance like nobody's watching. Someone's gotta pick up the slack now that ShePratt is court-mandated to drink soft drinks. Kristin wastes no time in plopping down on Brody's lap, prompting Frankie to ask what their current status is re: Friends with Benefits. Brody says it depends on how many drinks they have. Kristin puts on a fake(?) drunkface and screams, "Bottoms up!" She laughs and tells BS to make sure she and Kristin go home together at the end of the night.

Just then, McThirdWheel comes in with her friend Allie Lutz. Apparently this Lutz character is one of Kristin's arch-nemeses, or so her blurting out, "Shut the f*** up!" would suggest. While Brody tells Frankie to pipe down from desperately calling over McBuzzKill, Kristin talks trash about Lutz, proclaiming her "the dumbest girl on the planet."
