Alison Sweeney has some big news to break; there is no yellow line this week. Instead, there will be a red line. The person with the lowest percentage of weight loss will automatically go home. There's no voting, which makes the alliances useless. Oops. But now for the good news. A couple of visitors arrive on the ranch to lend some helpful advice.

First is Helen, the winner from a couple seasons ago. She's put on about 20 pounds since the show, which is normal. What's not normal is gaining back all the weight like Eric from season three did. He's currently going through the weight-loss process yet again. Helen and Eric talk to the players and give them some helpful hints about what to expect once they go back home. And hopefully, Eric told them how to avoid making the same mistakes he did.

Let's take a moment to discuss Mike's little freak-out. The whole show he's been complaining about the fact that he's lost 200 pounds and is still obese. He feels like the finish line is just too far away, so when Bob tries to talk some sense into him he FLIPS out. He starts screaming and huffing and puffing and storms out of the gym. OK, we get it. It's frustrating. You're still shopping at the big men's clothing store. You're still fat. It sucks. But you started off at 500+ pounds. Of course you won't be a size 36 pant yet. Look at Shay from last season. She'll be coming back on this season's finale because her journey was only half over. It took him twenty years to put that weight on. He could at least expect it to take a year or so to take the weight off.

daris-george-biggest-loser-s9-320.jpgThe challenge this week is the same one Helen did a couple seasons ago. It's the one where they have to go over 15 hills while dropping off increments of weight loss from each week. Now that Sam has gone home, the smallest guy is Daris so naturally he takes an early lead and never looks back. He pretty much dominates the game and finishes in 15 minutes. That's hardcore. Meanwhile, Mike and Ashley are struggling but it ends up being pretty cathartic for them. Sunshine and Koli help them to the finish like one big happy family. For winning, Daris gets to choose between $10,000 and a one-pound advantage. He chose the advantage (which, as it turns out, he didn't need).

The weigh-in this week was pretty intense. Everyone dropped huge numbers, especially for the last week on the ranch. Daris was the biggest loser with a ten-pound loss, followed by Koli with 13, and Mike with 12. Ashley only lost seven pounds so that means Sunshine needs six pounds to beat her. Unfortunately, she only loses two for whatever reason. This is a surprise for a number of reasons, the least of which is that Sunshine was a clear favorite to win throughout the entire season. Regardless, she seems pretty content at home and hopes to lose another 20 pounds before the finale.

Next week: the final four are sent home and somebody gains weight! Huzzah!

i really hope the fat guy wins

Every week I hate Mike-the-BLOB more and more. I would bet good money he balloons up again after the show. His mom looks like she's up to full size again.

wow people, thats harsh. Ihope they all can keep off 90% of what they lost. Mike and Ashley still have a way to go, I think they will do it. Daris might be the one to gain as he really is slim now. But I bet its only a pound. He sure is cute now.

Wow Daris looks like he has aged 10-15 years since he shaved his facial hair. I hope to goodness he grows it back. Hoping for Daris for the win

For crying out loud, it's bad enough when every contestant on every reality show refers to their experience as a "journey" as if they were hobbits or something. Do you have to do it too?

I really hope Koli gains the weight back. It will be fun listening to him try to blame it on someone else.

Bye Bye Sunshine! You being kicked off the show was the best part of last night. time to give your tear ducts a rest.

I hope Daris wins it all. He's acted pretty cool the whole season, sort of like the cowboys on AR.

Wow Daris looks like he has aged 10-15 years since he shaved his facial hair. I hope to goodness he grows it back. Hoping for Daris for the win

I read that Eric gained all his weight back & blames the show for not basically holding his hand the rest of his life once he went back to real life. So some of these people learn nothing, win, and then go back to exactly what they were doing before. Can't blame the show for that!

My 6 year old noticed that the lines around the weight scale at weigh in match the color of the shirts. Koli and Mike white, Ashley & Daris pinkish, and Sunshine yellow. Previews of weight gainer show pinkish lines - Daris or Ashley. Saw photos -Ashley looks smaller, Daris the same. It is him!

Unfortunately, I also think it is Daris who gains 2 lbs :( If you look at the preview, the scale shows what looks to be the number 197 with a +2 difference. Since Daris weighed in at 195 last episode, it must be him who gains the weight. I hope that I am wrong because I have been rooting for Daris since he first weighed in on the scale. I really hope he pulls it together and wins. If not. I hope the prize goes to Mike or Ashley.
