'American Idol': Big Michael Lynche eliminated after 'Free Willy' song
"American Idol" Songs from the Cinema night did its deed, and now there are only three.After the Top 4 watch a montage of former "Idol" contestants getting the VIP treatment in their hometowns and Fantasia Barrino's performance of "Bittersweet," Ryan Seacrest begins with his weekly drawn-out torture.
First person safe: Casey James. We can't say we're surprised, but really, America?
After a killer Daughtry performance, we then learn that Lee Dewyze is sticking around. So, the Bottom Two are Michael Lynche and Crystal Bowersox. Hmm, we kinda know who it's going to be. (Oh, and totally unrelated, but we loved she was wearing a t-shirt with two penguins hold hands, er, flippers.)
But first, a Bon Jovi performance. It's no "Livin' on a Prayer," but fine.
So, Ryan finally puts us out of our misery. Big Mike is taking the big hike home.
Crystal joins Lee and Casey in the Top 3.

To be honest though - apart from Crystal I really don't care who goes home and when!
I am such a huge Idol fan but this year has been a crushing disappointment - weak contestants, bad show themes, disappointing eliminations, checked out judges... I recently wrote a piece on the show - Fallen Idol - with 7 ways to turn the show around ahead of Season 10. Boy, does Idol need it!

Finally , big Mike gone home tonight . In my opinion , I think he should gone home for the first time he was voted off. He is not good enough to be in the top 4 .

THIS IS the WORST idol ever! You would think that Adam Lambert last year "set the bar" for doing the same or better with singing and music and entertainment. These people DONT get creative AT ALL!! Was Idol on a budget this year!! I bet the final will be cheap and boring. Adam brought Queen and KISS....this year?? I could care less who wins BORING BORING BORING...I will be watching the X-factor anyway next year Simon is hooking up with Paula. OR maybe Adam will be a Judge replace Simon and being some GLAM to the show!!!
ugh get over adam people. that was last year!!!!!!! and the people in this season do have talent, but all the sore losers from last year always end up bringing them down. this year its just a completely different batch then ever before. for example, lee's voice is so ready for the radio, which i haven't heard in a while. adam was good, but too dramatic, so sore losers get over it and actually give these guys a chance.
