'Grey's Anatomy': Sloan wants to commit and Bailey's dating
It's a weird world on "Grey's Anatomy" when Webber's poaching patients, Sloan's looking for a relationship, and Bailey's asking Callie for relationship advice. Hunt and Webber and Derek: Hunt has a patient with a football-sized tumor and a dicey prognosis, and Webber swoops in and plays the "I'm an old man and probably won't see too many more giant tumors like this so do you mind if I take this case?" card. Of course, Hunt falls for it until Cristina's shock and disgust at his naivete pulls him out of it. He and Webber practically duke it out over approaches (figuring that there's a Harper Avery at stake here) until Derek steps in and says he'll make the call on what to do after hearing their plans. Cristina chooses to work with Webber so she can spy for Hunt. But Webber's wise to her game, and dangles complicated procedures in front of her like bait to turn her into a double agent. Oh, Cristina -- you'd fold under questioning if they offered you a good surgery. Bad girl.
Derek picks Hunt's approach, which is more risky and exploratory than Webber's, and gets an earful for his trouble, as Webber tells him why he's screwing up on the job because a chief should encourage surgeons to approach problems their way, not the way the chief would do it. Blah, blah, blah, Richard -- totally transparent. The patient, a woman who just wants to make it through the month to see her daughter's wedding and has to be convinced to roll the dice on the surgery (what a great scene, and a great speech from her husband), starts to go south in the OR, and Hunt brings Webber in. Between them they take care of the tumor, which also includes removing the woman's liver to get at all of it. Wow. Even better: the patient lives.
Meredith and Cristina: Meredith is shockingly low-key and adult through the whole scenario, and I'm forced to mention again how much I dig what they're doing with her this season. Adult, better-adjusted Meredith with perspective and who's part of an ensemble rather is endlessly more interesting (and less exhausting) than a dark and twisty lead who makes horrible choices time and again. But she shined completely in the scene where she essentially told Hunt that he'd better watch himself. Cristina was actually happy and laughing and doing great work this week (how fabulous was that to watch?), and Meredith, after seeing Hunt react jealously to the prospect of Teddy going out with Mark Sloan (more on that in a sec), tells him that it's taken a long time for Cristina to be happy, and no matter how well he works with Meredith in surgery, it's Meredith and Cristina who are the team. She didn't quite say she'd sweep the leg, but she definitely wasn't messing around. Girl power!
Mark and Teddy and Lexie: Mark has come to terms with the fact that he's sad and lonely and wants to date, but just because Callie tells him to get out there and behave like a normal dating adult, it doesn't mean he knows how to. Now, I get that Mark's most recent bout of promiscuity stems from his breakup and his daughter leaving, and I get that he's, ahem, exceptionally fun to look at. And he's a doctor. But precious few guys, even with all that going for them, can score that much without at least a little bit of game. So I don't totally buy the "I don't know how to talk to women" bit that they're trying to sell us here.
But Mark buys into the advice, and after Teddy needs him on a consult -- a patient who had a lung removed years before now has a syndrome causing his heart to float around inside his body, and she wants to use saline implants to keep it in place -- he decides to bite the bullet and ask her out. Teddy's stunned and says no, but after conferring with her new pal Arizona, who encourages her to have a little fun, she decides to say yes. Owen witnesses a little of this back-and-forth, and warns Mark that Teddy's not the kind of woman you mess with, because she deserves better than that (which Meredith witnesses). When Teddy realizes he wants to have dinner and not just a quickie, she freaks and says no. Mark gets all down-in-the-mouth about being treated like a piece of meat, even during surgery. Later, Teddy waffles again (I kind of like that they make someone as beautiful as Kim Raver as neurotic as she is), he tells her that they should have lunch, in public, and get to know each other. Because he wants to build a life and have a family and doesn't want to waste time with someone who doesn't want those things. So it's on, and in one fell swoop it seems Teddy might be able to get over Owen.
But it's not that easy for Lexie, who's been convinced that Mark was just trying to make her jealous. But when Alex confirms that what's going down seems real, she falls apart at the notion that Mark's really moving on without her. So clearly my "they'll be back together in three episodes" predication was totally wrong. But I hold out hope.
Bailey and Ben: While I'm thrilled that Bailey's getting a social life of her own and is getting to experience all the random human insecurities that everyone else has been struggling with, I really really hope they don't take it too far. I love Bailey and I love Chandra Wilson, and while she walks a great line between tough and vulnerable and has been brilliant when she's let her nerdy side (the Han Solo monologue) or her insecurities come out, it would be a real shame to have her venture too far into this territory, like Callie freaking out during the presentations a couple of weeks back.
So Bailey's about to go on her third date with delicious anesthesiologist Ben, and he's cooking dinner for her. Which Callie, when consulted, of course tells her usually means that it's the sex date. The first part of the "have you prepared your surgical field?" conversation is much funnier, because we get to see it sink in for Bailey. After she tries to go to the spa for a waxing and freaks out, it's a little bit less charming -- as is the condom discussion. She's a grown woman and I know she'd figure it out. Far and away the best part, however, was the date itself, when she started a Bailey speech about what she is and isn't comfortable with. That's where it got brilliant, because Ben stopped her, encouraged her to have a conversation rather than give a speech, and informed Bailey that unlike everyone else, he's not scared of her. And then they kiss. Wooot! It's fabulous to see Bailey with someone worthy of her, who's just dirty enough.
Callie and Arizona: Miraculously, Callie and Arizona really do become the couple other people want to be, and they're doling out very sound advice to prove it. Callie's hard at work on research in the lab, and Arizona's got a complicated case with a little boy who had a cyst that burst, but in between they're counseling Teddy and Mark and Bailey, and they're getting along on top of it. That is, until Callie shares a fantasy of them living in a big house with a bunch of kids years down the road, and Arizona -- the gifted pediatrician -- says she's not interested in having her own kids. Uh oh... Well, it wouldn't be "Grey's" if there wasn't something for people to get wiggy about.
What did you think? Do you see Mark and Teddy as a couple? Do you think Owen can let go of his feelings for Teddy? Are you so psyched about Bailey's love interest? And how do you feel about the idea of a "Grey's" without Katherine Heigl?

When I go for search about my life partner ones I get a blog very intrastate and you know I can find my life partner from that site help, You can find that blog from this link http://www.onlineadultdatingservices.co.uk/blogs/love-excitement-with-adult-dating/
This was an okay episode, some things happen that were fun. Christina the double agent, Teddy just wanting to use Mark for sex, and Alex being afriad of getting stabbed by Mark. But some things are still annoying about Grey's like the whole patient stating their case (or in this case the family stating their case) their always seems to be a conflict with that and my question is, "Do any patients at Seattle Grace even care about their life?" they all have to convince to take a risk, that yes could kill them most of the time but still.
The other problem i have with this show are the surgeries. The impossible surgeries are getting so annoying, this use to happen alot more at the beginning of the show but i mean how many impossible surgeries can one hospital have a year that the same doctors always perform.
"The Harper Avery" award is interesting but i personally do not think doctors should be motavated by awards, they should motivated to save lives. So i hope this Harper Avery stuff stops pretty soon.
Their goes my Avery and Teddy love storyline, i was hoping they would hook up but now that Mark slone has her, well it is over for Avery at least for now. Owen in love with Avery, a few months ago he was sure he was in love with Christina, i know love is hard but can we stop with the flip floping with Owen's heart.
I dont buy that Mark does not know how to talk to women either. But it was funny to see how insulted he was by the fact that Teddy just wants sex. I do buy that Teddy is very insecure only because the actress plays it so well and Teddy has always acted like that.
It is so weird that this show is full of adults who are proud of being adults, some of these characters need to have some kids, that will make them become adult real quick.
Katherine Heigl gone, good. I am sick and tired of going back and forth with that actress and whether or not she wants to stay. Would i be happy if she can stop by for an episode in the future, sure. but for now keep her away until her movie career plummets and she begs to come back. Well then again, i cant see Katherine Heigl begging.
I am also sick and tired of seeing this show get ride of their stars. First Dr. Burke (so what if he used the "F" word towards Patrick Demsey, i heard that he was coming in to work late and holding production, wouldnt that get anyone made and dont act like you have never used a racist or sexiest term when you are in the heat of the moment), then Addison (she went on to that boring spinoff), Hahn (who i use to love her torturing Christina),O'maily ( who i miss more and more every episode, he was the only cast member who was not like supermodel hot, he was just regular hot)and Izzie (yeah no more over the top crazy stints from her like cutting an L-Vad wire)
Oh yeah and one more compliant is that, these actors are too good looking and they wear too much make-up. I mean, Lexie (espcially since she dyed her hair blood) walks to every room with her hair perfect, long and flowing everywhere, she never really looks tired. Can we make that part of the show real again. Their were episodes back in the day when Meredith was sick or she had a bad hair day, can we give Lexie on of those "for god sake" too damn good looking. If i was a patient i would refuse her service cause i would not believe she was a doctor, where do you get the time to do your hair, go to the salon, put on you make up so perfectly, do you ever have a bad hair day. My parents are doctor and they have their bad days too, i mean they look nice most of the time but never that nice.
How do you know Hunt reacted jealously to Mark asking Teddy out? Just because this is how it APPEARED to Meredith doesn't mean that it's true. She reacted as a friend would react in that situation however. Hunt is Teddy's friend and he knows Marks reputation. I would expect him to say something to Mark in that respect. Doesn't mean that he's jealous IMO. I like Teddy/Mark together by the way.
I don't like Mark and Teddy together. I don't feel spark or even see it. I think Mark has more chemistry with Arizona to be honest, even Meredith if you're really asking. And I like Mark and Lexie, so I'm holding out hope too but it's definitely hard to hold onto something that's just slowly slipping from your grasp.
well. maybe mark knows how to talk to women. but when it comes to finding a relationship he clearly does not. so maybe that's what he meant.
i kind of like the idea of mark and teddy together to be honest. she's more adult than lexie. and as much as i like lexie. there are moments where all she seems to me is a child genius. that's it. sort of like.. christina. not really emotionally mature. but very very smart.
and i love meredith being adult. it's awesome. and it's about damn time.
Danny Sanchez - With due respect if Katherine's movie career does fall off which seems unlikely..Grey's will be long gone by then. No way will this show go beyond 7 seasons the way ratings are bombing.
At first I thought putting Mark and Teddy together was ridiculous but perhaps I'm seeing it now. Could be interesting. I also love the pairing of Bailey and Ben. Dude is smokin'!!! And she looked gorgeous on their date. I liked the patients' stories and like that they still put that part in the foreground of each ep. Poor Lexie and her breakdown. Oh and I don't and won't miss Heigl on this show.
The show isn't the same without Izzie not because of Izzie herself, but because of the classic 'Greys' dynamic that involved all of them practically living under the same roof. Meredith, Izzie, George, Alex, Cristina - that's how the show started and it's totally lost focus on why this show was popular in the first place. Thank God for reruns, because the new episodes give me the dark and twisties.
I'm growing really tired of Arizona and her rants. Enough already.
Arizona is so fake. She's a hypocrite. She's always Little Miss Optimistic about the most hopeless cases with the other doctors and patients and yet she has zero desire to have kids? Sorry, not buying that. This new facet of her personality, that she doesn't want to be a mom, is totally unbelievable based on how they've built up that character with all her maternal urges and nurturing of other people. And Jessica Capshaw is very annoying.
Mark and Teddy, yeah, I can see it. Would like to see Mark in a stable adult relationship...for once.
Izzy....please, will ABC just make the announcement once and for all and retire this character permanently?? Katherine Heigl has moved on. About time to just make it official.
Alex...poor thing. Justin Chambers is capable of some good acting but they've really given him the short end of the stick.
Lexie...great acting by Chyler. I felt a lump in my throat when she broke down crying in the bathroom.
Bailey and Ben...yay!! Loved seeing Bailey finally getting some action and with a guy who is worthy of her. Also agree that I don't want to see Bailey turned into a mushy, nervous, neurotic mess in her personal life. But wasn't that scene about the bikini wax hysterical? I about lost it, laughing, when Bailey talked about not wanting the Russian KGB lady making her "surgical plane" look like the pube of a 5-yr-old girl. LOL
Unfortunately, handsome Dr. Ben isn't going to stick around since the actor has been cast in a different show next fall.
