'Brothers & Sisters': Luc is back on Sarah's side
Buffy: The campaign slayer
Kitty is preparing to announce her candidacy for U.S. Senator. Buffy, the woman who leaked their conversation about running for senator to the media, wants to be her campaign manager. Robert is against it, but Kitty wants to interview her. At the meeting, Buffy proves she has the chops when she tells Kitty that her venue for the announcement is going to be swarming with people for some competing event. In the end, they decide to see if they can move the announcement to Ojai Foods. Later, Buffy tells Kitty that Scotty shouldn't be on stage because he's gay (and neither will Saul) and they want Robert out of sight. Buffy wants nothing to take away attention from Kitty. She then tells Kitty that Holly has sold all her shares in the company and she better find out who really owns the company fast.
Later, Alex, the man who Kitty had an emotional affair with last year at the park shows up at Robert's office. He says that someone has called him about his relationship with Kitty. He seems to have no other motive, but to protect Kitty. Robert tells him to set up a meeting and that they'll both get to the bottom of it.
The one who makes your cheeks flush
Valentine's Day is approaching and the romantically challenged Walker siblings are freaking out over gifts. Kevin wonders why Sarah can't seem to commit to Roy. Kevin asks her if she really loved Luc. Then, a painting catches her eye and the curator notices. She offers to grab the artist for her. Can you believe who it is? LUC! Has he been in L.A. all this time? Luc sees Sarah, though, and refuses to come out.
Paige, Sarah's daughter, tells her she has a crush on a boy that makes her cheeks flush and a young boy who's just a nice guy. Sarah tells her that sometime the boy that makes your cheeks flush isn't the right choice. Read: Luc.
Holly sells her shares, but not her soul
Holly decides to tell David that the company is indeed worth more than she knew. She also tells him that Dennis tried to blackmail her into having sex with him for the secret behind the company's worth. She didn't take him up on it. Phew! She has decided to sell her shares, but she's worried about how the Walkers are going to treat Rebecca once they find out whom she sold her shares to.
Damsel in distress
While at Nora's, Rebecca begins to have pains of some kind. Later at the hospital, we find out that she has lost the baby. Holly is thankful that Nora was there when Rebecca needed her. Holly gets all choked up when Nora says they're family now. When Justin arrives, Rebecca tells him she wants to try for a baby again. She's terribly depressed and I think Justin can see this won't be easy for them.
Kitty arrives at the hospital and tells Kevin and Justin about Holly selling her stocks. When Sarah, Nora and Saul find out, they realize that Holly has created a mess by selling her shares to a conglomerate. They decide to fight back.
Kitty makes her move
As Robert and Alex wait for the blackmailer to call, they bond over Kitty's cancer and the fact that Alex's ex-wife died of breast cancer. When the blackmailer arrives, guess who it is? Buffy! She was merely investigating rumors. While it was a pretty dirty thing to do, Kitty decides to keep her on. Oh, and she decides to announce her candidacy at her home the next day. Get to work, Buffy!
Breaking up isn't hard to do
For Valentine's Day, Roy gets Sarah Luc's painting from the gallery. In the process of figuring out what to get Sarah, Roy realizes that he and Sarah are very different people. He then breaks up with her. Nice V-Day, huh? At least she got to keep the painting!
Nora and Holly turn a new leaf
Nora finds Holly packing in her office and lets her have it. She tells her that it's always about money with her. Holly denies that, then tells Nora that she canceled the deal. The whole talk at the hospital when Nora told her that they were family changed her mind. I really wasn't expecting that. Did you? When Holly tells Nora that the person who wanted to buy her shares is Dennis York, Nora looks as if she has seen a ghost and says that changes everything. Are we seeing a new friendlier relationship between Nora and Holly developing?
At Kitty's announcement of her candidacy, the whole family has come out to support, even poor Rebecca. She looks like she has got a ticket to Crazyville, though.
Color Sarah surprised
When Sarah returns to the gallery to have Roy's card credited for the painting and hers charged, Luc steps out to greet her and she finds out he did the painting she loved so much. And kiss. Swoon.

So excited to have Luc back on Brothers & Sisters, what an impact his character makes on the show. The last scene was so powerful it brought me to tears of joy & happimess for Luc and Sarah. We need more Luc on Brothers & Sisters.
Am I excited to have Gilles Marini (Luc) back on the show?
Words cannot express......
Buffy: The campaign slayer! lol your're killing me here.
Love having Luc back. He and Sarah have great chemistry. And he's not bad eye candy either ;)
Favorite bit though was the scene with Holly and Nora. Completely unexpected. I love that she didn't sell her shares. Hilarious when Nora asked her "did anyone ever tell you - you're exhausting?"
Really looking foward to seeing how this storyline unfolds. What does Nora know about this guy (the investor) that we don't?
Haven't watched B&S lately - think I've missed at least 2 or 3 episodes but this recap - this episode looks like B&S maybe back on track. Love Gilles Marini. Matt Letscher (Alex) had much better chemistry with Calista's Kitty. I read here on Zap2it that he's been cast in a new series (currently in development) called Awkward Situations for Men.
Loved the episode! So glad Luc's back! He and Sarah have tons of chemistry. And Sarah was very stand-up for having Roy's card credited and hers charged for the painting. I'm also glad Alec's back (isn't it Alec and not Alex??) and wonder if something will happen between him and Kitty now that Rob Lowe will be off the show. I felt so horrible for Rebecca and Justin. I enjoyed the scenes between Holly and Nora... very touching.
Yes, it's sooo nice to go back to a fun, sexy storyline..and yes..never bad to look at Gilles..so hot..and as a Pasadena native..if we had guys like THAT walking around town..ooh la la..!!!..
Great recap!
I'm liking the new Nora/Holly dynamic and can't wait to see what Nora's reaction ("That changes everything." dum dum dum!) means in the continuing story/potential future fight for Ojia.
And yes, Luc=swoon, Rebecca=crazy town, and Matt Letscher (aka Alex) should not = longer hair...but he still made me swoon (too) as did Justin's "touch of grey" and Kevin's new haircut...yep, it was all about the hair for me last night...hahaha!!
Can't wait for the next episode.
I am so happy to see Luc back on the show. The show needs a real, old fashioned romance. I hope it develops between Luc and Sarah. I am tired of depressing story lines on B&S. Plus... Luc is soooo handsome!!!!
WELCOME BACK LUC! MMMMMM ;-)
Great ep tonight! Can't wait to see their "flashback" episode!
Kitty is running for the US SENATE, not for mayor!
Yes, I'm glad Gilles Marini is back too. I will miss Rob Lowe though.
