'Dexter's' killer ending
The fourth season of "Dexter" went out with a bang Sunday night. The Trinity Killer storyline was resolved, Debra had a family revelation and the last ten minutes provided a show-changing twist. Beware: Spoilers ahead. We are warning you once again: The "Dexter" season four finale had quite the ending and if you haven't watched it yet and are planning to watch it, do not keep reading.
Holy crap, guys. The Trinity Killer killed Rita and left Harrison sitting in her blood. Dexter's life has come full circle. He was born in blood in the shipping container where his mother was murdered and now Harrison was born in blood in the bathroom where his own mother was murdered.

Kudos to the writers, actors and entire production team for giving us one of the best seasons of Dexter in a while.
The Rita character had become, for me, an annoying and shrill distraction but as with all good writing and acting, just when you start to soften and accept her -- she gets killed off.
I don't know what Dexter's creator thinks about the TV version overall but I would be surprised if he wasn't proud for all the love and care Showtime and the producers have given his 'baby'.
Next season seems too far away!
Thank you for not putting the reveal before the jump.
Theres no proof the trinity killer did it.. in fact, it probably wasn't him because he never found out where dexter lived nor did he know to put harrison in the blood.. he woulda killed him.. it was definatly just a dream
I was thinking the same thing Anonymous because I was upset with the ending.
It was clearly Trinity. How many times have we seen Dexter gather information when he breaks into someone's house?
Ten times out of almost 50 episodes. Trinity found out where Dexter lived via Deb's apartment. Went there, did his thing and picked up his mustang.
While that was going on, Dexter was visiting Trinity's family and then found out about the mustang and positioned himself.
It was brilliant writing. Dexter was off his game all season long. He had to pay for his mistakes.
there are lots of hot girls and women and handsome men in====onenightcupid c-o-m==== ,They all want a exiting night,do you want join to us for a NSA casual night ,It only takes you one minute to sing up!!!BE FREE,you can have a try!!!
DEXTER KILLED RITA GUYS.. the writers are giving us hints that dexter loses his cool and loses touch with reality. His dark passenger took over
No,no,no...First episode, Dexter in the car accident. Concussion, leaves hospital AMA....In all the confrontations with Arthur including slamming him up side the head with a shovel, Pulling the boy out of cement, the assault on Arther in his kitchen etc. in following scenes, there are no marks, bruises, dirt, mud etc. on either Dex or Trinity. Why would Arthur wake up in his van and leave it behind in the parking garage? Some where, in the season, Dexter has to have lost consciousness and this all is a coma induced hallucination. The time line and scattered facts don't make sense. Why on earth would Deb bring up Dexter's mom and Brian link in the middle of a swat bust at Arthur's house? How did Dexter end up in the coffin in the garage in 5 seconds from the door being busted down? Where did that go? No, this is too unrealistic to make any sense at all. It had to be a hallucination or dream sequence.
As I was reading through all the comments, a thought occurred to me, what about the neighbor? He did get punked by Dexter and rejected by Rita. Now I wholly believe Trinity killed Rita, but that could've been a possibility as well.
The only people who know how Dexter was "born of blood" are either dead or police chiefs. Also, and for what it's worth, the camera blur was used at the end which is what he sees when he imagines Harry.
