'Big Brother 11': The never-ending HoH competition
"Big Brother 11" last left us hanging over who would win part one of the all-important final HoH. Who managed to coast their way into round three?
It's another live show and another insane jewelry selection from our favorite robot reality host. Seriously, Julie. Bigger necklaces won't distract us from your very pregnant belly. Embrace the bump.
The big surprise for tonight? For the first time ever, all three of the remaining finalists will make it to finale night. Say what? I have to assume only two will actually make it to the jury vote, because otherwise that would be some bull. They're only doing this to keep Jordan in the house so the entire show won't be taken over by grumpy Natalie in the important last episodes.
After Julie drops this bomb on us, we head back to the HoH competition where we left it on Tuesday. While they are hanging in there, Natalie tries to throw Jordan off her game by defaming Michele and then telling Jordan Michele will be happy to get her hands on Jeff in the jury house. Shut up, Gnatalie. At one point, Natalie falls completely off the log but manages to hang on to the key and pull herself back up. Darn! (Can you tell I'm kind of not rooting for Natalie, here?) Kevin manages to trick Jordan into losing her concentration, and she falls. Natalie and Kevin comment on how perfectly everything is going for them. Yeah, we've noticed. Kevin gives me a LOT of hope when he diary rooms that he is lying to Natalie about taking her to the final two in order to get her to drop. Kevin winning final HoH and booting Natalie would be the most satisfying game play decision of the season. Do it, Kevin! Do it! Natalie finally gives in and takes a dive for Kevin to win part one. Yay? Yes, I've decided. Yay!
Julie finally breaks down what is happening with the HoH competition: part three doesn't happen until finale night next Tuesday! After the HoH is crowned and boots the final person to the jury, they immediately go to the final questioning. I kind of like this, but we'll see how it pans out. Considering the finale is two hours, they needed to fill the time somehow.
And now it's time to watch Jeff slink into the jury house! Russell, of course, is frothing at the mouth to see Jeff. He and Jessie physically rejoice when Jeff walks in, which is pretty amusing. Next, we learn that the jury members really have turned on Natalie. Especially interesting is how they all comment on Natalie's lack of winning competitions. Hmm. Jeff proves he still can't read the house when he predicts that Kevin will follow him into the jury house next week. Oh, Jeff. So pretty. So dumb. I guess I can't fault him for figuring that Natalie wouldn't win the HoH competition, though.
Next is a part I am sort of refusing to fully recap out of principle. Evil Dick, Danielle (from BB3), Mike Boogie and Janelle come back to take up airtime and talk about the current season. I refuse to write about anything ED says. I despise him. Danielle picks Natalie has playing the best game, Janelle picks Jeff booting Russell as the worst move so far, Boogie picks Jeff using the Coup D'Etat as a best movie and the Natalie/Kevin lie to get Jeff to boot Russell as another best move. All but Danielle pick Kevin as the eventual winner, and Danielle soapboxes a bit on how a woman can't ever beat a man in the final two of the game. Well, that was some filler, huh?
The second part of the HoH competition is played one at a time, with Natalie going first. The goal is to put the HoH winners in order, Skee Ball style, by rolling a ball uphill into the appropriate slot for which week they were HoH. Natalie finishes, but only gets five out of 10 right. Yikes. Jordan is up next, and the best part about her turn is that you can hear the studio audience rooting for her the entire time, which you decidedly could not hear when Natalie was competing. Ha. The crowd has the right idea...because Jordan wins part two, dominating with nine correct! YAY YAY YAY! I am just so happy Natalie is out of the picture, y'all. Here's hoping we get a Kevin/Jordan final two. We end the show to the sounds of Natalie justifying why she lost. Natalie, you just suck. Deal with it.
Well, that's it for me this season. Enjoy Jessica's final two recaps, and I'll see y'all next summer!

That competition was awesome. Can Natalie not take responsibility for anything? Jordan tossed a ball in an incorrect slot and she just kept on going? That is how she got only a 9. CBS really did come up with a competition that was fair to both of those players. What I really liked was how Jordan did not gloat when she heard that she won. Imagine what it would have been like if Natalie had won.
The twist is kind of interesting that all three will stay in the BB House until the finale, when the two finalists are decided. That means one juror is kept apart from all the others. At this time, all three believe that Natalie is very popular in the jury house.
Of course we do see conversations selectively edited.
I am just hoping natalie does not make it to final 2...i think kevin is more likely to evict natalie than jordan is...
I dont think jordan can win against kevin at all...unless she gets americas vote, jeffs, micheles and natalies and she could only get nats if kevin votes nat out...
kevin has a very mean side to him that you can see on after dark...he is very mean about jordan saying things like dont worry about jordan the dumb bitch cant win anything...so i was happy to see her win tonight and that would be one reason i would like her to win the final hoh...but that would mean natalie has a shot to win because jordan will take her...
i think the best outcome would be kevin winning hoh and evicting natalie...i think the votes could go either way because nat will be so pissed at kevin
i would really like jordan to win the final hoh just to prove them wrong then kick natalie out...
either way i really hope nat ends up with nothing
That's ok, after reading that lame recap of the episode, i won't be reading anything you write anymore. And you will still have to see me on the show year after year.
BTW, didn't you notice that the applause rose x10 when I entered the set with Julie?
Love me, Hate me... at least I evoked some emotion from everyone watching, unlike you writing which was as exciting as a fart in wet underwear.
Yes, line of the night was Jordan saying to the G-nat "you're a little instigator." the way she said it...LMAO.
I haven't been a huge Jordan fan but omg i can't believe how excited i got when she was beating Natalie!! watching Nat lose--the words i've read so often about her, "worthless" and "piece of sh!t" came to mind. okay...i know, i know she is a person (but i can love to watch her lose!) plain and simple, Natalie is no fun, PERIOD.
oh yeah cath, imagine she won she'd be going on and on (ugh)...and it was funny how the show faded out to all her excuses why she didn't win. (btw, that's what ppl are like when they are like 7 years old.) but anyway YAY, Natalie lost that was a beautiful thing!!!!!!!!
I'd love to see the l'il Rat Nat leave in 3rd now. despite his mean steak (yes!), i think Kev deserves to win (and at least he is funny), with Jordan getting 2nd. but if it's Jordan v. Natalie at the end, then my vote is for Jordan all the way. duh.
p.s. Carrie, i've really enjoyed your recaps this season. Hope to see you on the next go-round!!
hey EvelDick!, overall i was rooting for you in your season, anything was better than WAaaaaaaaahhhhh-mber & (gaggy) Co.! you rocked taking them down and i could recognize your redeeming qualities. Truly, i was happy to see you back, and glad you put the money to good purpose!
But honestly...Carrie writes GREAT recaps. and you would know that if you read them and weren't just checking for response/reviews per the epi you were on. maybe you were hoping to see a more glowing review!! hahahaaaaa......
EvelDick, so glad to know your going to read this. Your a dueche! Please dont pretend you dont care what people think because if you didnt you wouldnt be posting here with lame fart refrences.
Natalie is the most oblivious person I think I've ever seen. She thinks she is a genius for coming up with the "I'm 18" lie, except she really IS all of the things she thinks she is tricking the other houseguests into thinking by pretending to be 18. Heck, she acts like she is 12.
I love the instant excuses to Julie. It's like her mistake is proof she isn't a moron. Sorry, but when she's rolling Kevin's ball in that final HOH position instead of HER OWN, there's just no excuse. She didn't even pick up on the fact that SHE was the last HOH. Embarrassing.
I'm glad Julie shot her down when she was describing the challenge as "mental" and had to be told it was "mental and physical".
I'm so glad Jordan beat Natalie in the HOH competition. I can't stand Natalie, she is the worst, most useless player in BB history. I hate the way she always has to be superior to everyone else & then has excuses upon excuses when she's not. She gloated when she beat Jesse at chess. She bragged to Jeff & Russell about how she would beat them at poker, then said that the game would have gone differently if they had been playing for money. She lorded it over the other house guests when they bought (or so she thought) the lie about the final 2 reversal; saying how they got pranked by an 18 year old (even though she's 24.) Who can forget (even though we'd like to)the ridiculous crown, robe, sunglasses and sceptre she wore to the nomination ceremony when she was HOH. Last night she told Kevin that, even though she was letting him win the first part of the HOH competition, there was no way he would have beaten her. Then when she lost to Jordan, she made excuses as to why she lost. Natalie, Jordan, too, had a ball go in the wrong slot, but she corrected for it. You lost. Deal with it. God, I hope whomever wins the final HOH doesn't pick Natalie. Although, if the jury were to really grill her and be upset with her during the question period, that would almost make up her being in the final 2; just so long as she doesn't win.
By the time BBAd came on, Natalie was still blaming the fact that she lost on elements outside of her control. The best part was her bitterness over hearing the crowd cheering for Jordan but not her. She was using it to convince Kevin to take her when he beats Jordan in part Three. She is such an ugly little troll. She is the most useless contestant in the history of this show. People tend to gravitate towards her but she is just such a nasty skank. The things she says about Michelle are out of such a jealous hole in her soul. Michelle is cute, has a husband who she adores and who adores her whereas, Natalie just has some tool who wanted to be on TV so he brought her a baggie tie as a ring because he couldn't afford a ring. Did CBS give him that idea to try to make people like the most dispicable piece of crap in the house if she makes it to the finale. The third part of the HOH is usually guessing the answers of the jury to stupid questions so it should be a toss up. Go Jordan. Don't let Shrek make it to the finals.
