Just when I thought everything was going my way on "The Secret Life of the American Teenager," Ashley trotted out her little plan to end the newly reforming relationship between Anne and George. Did she think she could put her mom back with David and get a car of her own?
How dare Ashley come out against me on the Anne and George issue? How dare she? She's a teenager, nothing more. I'm an adult, she needs to listen to her elders and if her parents can't put her in her place I'm sure going to try... I just don't know how yet.
I wonder if Ashley's nefarious plans had more to do with her wanting a dog than anything else. Either that, or Ashley just didn't want to move back into the old house. Boy was I happy that her little plan amounted to nothing more than a date between her parents. Score another point for the good guys!
I like that Ruben was the voice of reason with Adrian tonight, it's too bad that the girl was so far off her rocker that it made no difference. I see her point of view, and Adrian wasn't in the wrong, but not being in the wrong is not the same as not having to apologize. If Adrian honestly wants to continue to be with Ricky in the future and Ricky doesn't want to end up in court, Adrian needs to be nice to Amy. And there's no way Ricky should've threatened the court thing at the end of the episode tonight, he's going to regret that.
That last scene between Adrian and Amy at Amy's tonight seemed kind of excessive. Surely Ruben didn't think that Adrian was going to actually apologize if he sent her there alone. He figured it out as soon as Adrian got back home, he could have guessed what Adrian was going to do before he sent her there. Perhaps he should have thought twice about that plan.
What was the deal with Grace and Kathleen freaking out over Tom being upset? I've never known the two of them to walk on eggshells around him before, so I wasn't quite buying that whole scene tonight. Plus, I don't accept the football throwing incident either. I can't argue about whether or not it happened -- obviously it did -- I can only say that prior to tonight I would never have guessed that Tom had serious anger issues.
Bits and pieces:
- Amy and the football coach. How much fun was that? I know I say it every week, but seriously, how dumb is Amy? It makes no difference if the coach is just a coach or the counselor too, she ought not be talking to him that way.
- Building on that, how did Anne possibly claim to the coach that she doesn't allow Amy to disrespect her at home. Amy does nothing but disrespect Anne at home.
- Do you think there was some hanky-panky between Jack and Madison over the summer, or is Madison just wishing that something had happened and telling everyone about said wishes?
- Is Amy thinking she might want to marry Ricky? Say it ain't so.
- Betty is definitely "special."
- My last piece of advice for tonight: google your date. Always google your date.

I cant believe what is going on with amy!!! I mean was she always a tad bit *****y prior to getting knocked up or is it because of her being a new mom.cause im really starting to think the former.lol. How could she call adriane a slut when last i checked she meet ricky & slpt with him the same night! Now if thats not a bit slutty i dont know what is! I kinda thought ann & george were dating each other i just knew it.lol. & for ann to say amy doesnt disrespect her, yea right. Both of her daughters do. They bothe have way too much say over their parents lives wth? I really do think something happened between Madsion & Jack just what i reallu dont know & what did ben do in italy? Cant wait to find out.
Amy's been super immature and annoying these past episodes. Go Adrian! She's not in the wrong and she shouldn't have to apologize until Amy apologizes for calling her a slut. Last time i checked Amy was the one with a kid.
Adrian should not have had to apologize-Amy should apologize to her. Being a teen mom is no excuse for being a crazy little *****. Ricky is the father of the baby and has a right to allow his friend to hold John. I think Ricky should take more responsibility for John and maybe Amy would feel better. But Amy had no right to act like that. She needs to grow up.
As a teacher, they would not care what the girls called each other as long as it didn't get physical. Amy would have been suspended long before she said he was"just a coach". I have taught high school for over 20 years and I know of no school were the students are allowed to disrespect ANY ADULT Empoloyee from the Prinicpal to the Janitor. BUT Since SLAT High is only allowed one teacher per year and all of the students spend the WHOLE day in the hall or at lunch I should not be surprised.
What happened to Amy? She was a nice, sweet girl last season and now she is being such a *****, it's hard to like her.Some people call her " immature and annoying " but to me she is just mean and *****y.I think Madison and Jack did have something going over the summer. I think anne should stay with David and George can go back with Graces mom, the new widower and then Tom would be Amys Step brother and he would have something to say with her *****iness-lol, that would be funny
Amy and Ricky have the best chemistry on the show but they need to write Amy better. Ashley use to be a cool character now she is just as bratty as Amy.
Yeah Amy is totally turning into a nut but, shes got a lot going on.. Adrian should NOT be holding her child by any means.. They've both made it very clear how they feel about each other and since Ricky only sees John most of the time "an hour a day" he should be respectful of Amy's wishes. How would YOU feel if you had a child with a guy who was dating the school slut currently and while you were pregnant, and she's walking around cradling your child? I know I'd be ****ED.
this show has gone wayyyyyyyy down hill....
