'Big Brother 11' Alas, the crazy is gone
Is there anything that could happen on 'Big Brother 11' that could compete with the back to back lunatic antics that sent Chima and Lydia home? In truth, not really. Sure, I could try to say that Kevin was really funny, that strategy was interesting or that the intensity of paranoia made tonight just as entertaining. But, let's be honest. Crazy is way more engaging and Chima being told by the producers to leave and Lydia totally losing her mind were two of the best moments Big Brother has ever had to offer. Of course tonight paled in comparison.
All the same, some interesting developments occurred. The HoH competition was a close call, but Jeff eventually came out on top, beating out Kevin and leaving Michele and Russell as the Have-Nots. Which isn't so terrible, since part of their food allowance is churros. Kevin laments chocking on the competition and Natalie tells him that it's all Russell's fault that he lost because she has absolutely no concept of taking responsibility for anything or accepting loss gracefully.
Natalie also tells Kevin that that they need to get into a final four alliance with Jeff and Jordan. Which is just about the only thing she's ever said that makes some sense. Then she follows up that it would make the most sense for Jeff and Jordan because she and Kevin have been nothing but loyal to their alliances. Thus, she's right back to being a nonsensical moron, because she has not remained loyal to anyone. Unfortunately, Jordan agrees that Kevin and Natalie are more trustworthy than Russell and Michele and she has Jeff's ear.
Jeff wouldn't mind giving her a few other body parts as well. There is a brief conversation where she tries to talk him into taking her on his Hawaiian vacation, but he tells her whomever he takes he will be doing more than making out with. Jordan gets accused of being a tease and she clarifies that she prefers to wait for the right moment. Jeff thinks that right moment could be in Hawaii, but she says she'll stick to her guns and kissing and cuddling will be where she draws the line. He says it doesn't matter because he's not taking her and she pouts that she would take him. I think after leaving Big Brother, I would not want to see the other HGs for a long time. If ever.
We get another example of Natalie's pathetically poor sportsmanship when she brags about competing in the World Poker Championship and then condescendingly tells Russell that no one would play as he did if money were involved after she loses a hand. I don't think I could stand to be around that little egomaniacal freak for even 24 hours. Russell has had to deal with her a lot longer and he snaps just a little bit and leaves the table with Jeff rather than deal with her attitude.
Additionally, Russell is nervous about his chances of going on the block, since Kevin's lie further damaged his credibility with Jeff. Russell tries to handle it diplomatically, saying that eventually he will likely target Jeff but that in this instance specifically he was not talking about doing so soon. Given that there are only 6 people left in the house, I don't see how much longer he can wait. Michele going to talk to Jeff and he hands he platitudes about how their alliance is still strong, but Russell doesn't fully believe it.
Actions speak louder than words, however. So when Jeff puts Kevin and Natalie on the block, Russell is all set to relax, firm in the knowledge that his final four alliance is alive and kicking. Little does he know, that Jeff has put them both up as pawns in order to target him. As long as one of his new four win the PoV, it's a good bet that we'll see Russell gone. Hopefully, Natalie will follow him.

Jeff lost some points with me in this episode. Up until now he seems to have played a very good game, a game that could come unglued if he and Jordan believe Kevin and Natalie's lies. What was up with the whole scene outside with Jeff, Jordan, Russell and Michele? Russell clearly told Jeff that he did not say (as Kevin lied) that he was going to target Jeff had he won HOH. Russell then said, basically, once Kevin and Natalie are gone, it's everyone for themselves. That's the way it should be at Final Four. Then Jeff goes all crazy by saying that he didn't get the answers he wanted from Russell. Russell told Jeff he didn't say he would target him, so was Jeff expecting him to back up Kevin's lie and say "yes"? The whole incident didn't make any sense to me.
I will say this much, if Jeff and Jordan are dumb enough to not realize that Kevin and Natalie are on the outside looking in and will do anything to stay in the game, and kick out either Russell or Michele, then both Jeff and Jordan deserve to get a ticket to the jury house. You can mark it down, I predicted it today. If Kevin or Natalie is not evicted on Thursday, Jeff or Jordan will not win the money!
The one thing J&J need to figure out is that when you are down to the final 6, it isn't about who you can trust, its about who you can beat. They can all beat Russell! He is the perfect person to take to the end!
i agree with Billie above that once it's down to the Final 4, it's pretty much every person for themselves, what do they expect? so yeah, nothing really wrong with what Russell was saying about that.
oh yeah Jessica, Natalie IS always blaming someone else for everything! i think nothing would make Natalie happier than to evict Jeff, and they'd be well advised to get her out now (imo). plus, personally i sure wouldn't mind her get booted asap.
Go Russell (or Michele) for POV!!
and what was that Jordan was saying about there's two "p's" in poop? oh that was two pea's in a pod?...never mind!! :)
[sorry guys, it's late sometimes when i write these posts.]
I have not heard any of them talking about who they can beat in the final 2...why would they want to keep kevin or natalie over russell or michele...russell and michele are disliked more than anyone...does jeff really think natalie would put up kevin and michelle or kevin put up natalie?? I think jeff and jordan are going up next week unless jordan gets hoh because either of them would use the veto on the other so it is the only way to be sure one of them stay on the block...
I personally think natalie should want kevin gone...he is the one person that would for sure beat her in the final 2
Jeff should get out kevin or nat this week...why **** russell off when he would go up no matter who is left...russell will vote for jeff to win if jeff is in the final 2 unless jeff backdoors him this week...jeff is not thinking clearly...
jeff will never vote out jordan but he should hope someone else gets her out...jeff can not beat her in the final 2
I am hoping for some combo of jeff/russell/michelle in the final 2...
I Agree Billie. You said everything I'm saying now. Jeff definately loss points with me and I don't know whats wrong with Jordan! Number one, I would have hopped on Jeff by now! He is absolutely Fine as Hell! ha! and why she decided to trust Natalie! Oh my God! Where are their Brains!! Well I'm hoping the finale 4 will be Jeff, Jordan, Mitchelle & Russell.
they are proving to be "not too smart". Absolutely take Russell to the final, no one likes him, he is easily beat. There are already two people in the jury house, both of them on natalie and kevin's side. What are these idiots thinking???
The best part of the show was Kevin lusting over Gardener Jeff. Hysterical!
I love J&J but I'm beginning to think if you are going to be stupid you deserve not win. I can handle ANYONE winning but Natalie. UGH!
I am so angry right now...the thought of Natalie and Kevin both staying this week makes me sick...how could jeff believe them...
i still believe any of the remaining ppl other than jordan would nominate jeff next week but but he has a better chance with russell than nat & kev...he is gonna feel like an ***...jordan better win hoh...
J & J are trusting Natalie, oh please! (gag me)
I am in agreement with others here that maybe they are too stupid to win. (and we even helped that side with the coup d'etat.) but i am still rooting for them anyway, along with Michele and Russell. I'd like to see Michele or Russell FTW!
If Jeff and Jordan decide to evict Russell instead of either Kevin or Natalie, I am looking forward to the stunned looks on their faces when they are nominated by the very person they have chosen to trust (Natalie).
In addition to shock at being nominated, that sound they will hear will be millions of viewers screaming "I told you so" at their TV sets.
