'Big Brother 11' How many quarters in an hour?
Tonight on 'Big Brother 11', we found out that Ronnie might just have a master plan. But maybe not.
The house has been divided into two groups, with Ronnie playing both sides pretty well. Better than anyone else is playing the game, anyway. However, Laura figured out what Ronnie was doing, and instead of keeping it to herself or trying to align with him, she announced it to both sides of the house, which got back to Ronnie. So, he put her on the block with Jeff. Has she never watched this show?
She cries to Jordan that she fears she is the only one smart enough to beat Ronnie, and Jordan cries too. And then they hug and giggle and everything is OK again, and seriously, someone please explain to me what I saw because I have no idea. Ronnie talks to Laura and Jeff, telling them that he wants them both to fight for the POV, because he has a plan that will involve both of them staying in the house. Laura doesn't buy it and the moment he leaves, she says so. Just because the door is closed, doesn't mean he can't hear you.
Russell wants to keep allies on both sides of the house, so he appeases to the outgroup with alcohol and complains about how his group is constantly talking about the game. He goes back inside after awhile and asks if they are still talking game stuff, and Lydia, in the snottiest tone of voice possible, condescends that they are talking about something from her personal life that she doesn't feel like sharing with him. And he explodes, yelling back that he wasn't talking to her so she should shut her pie hole. I'm paraphrasing. Lydia, for her part, bursts into tears and whines about how he abused her because he's "over confident".
She asks Ronnie to backdoor Russell, which is convenient, since he said on Sunday that he wanted to do just that. But he doesn't give anyone a straight answer about the idea, opting to wait until after the POV Competition. Fighting for the POV is Ronnie, Laura, Jeff, Russell, Natalie and Casey. The game has them all trying to put together exact change from piles of money in 2 minutes. The winner of each round is also offered the chance to pick a money bag that may contain $5,000, a slop pass or absolutely nothing. Ronnie obviously throws the game, Natalie is the only one who takes a bag - winning a slop pass - and Jeff wins the competition.
Ronnie deliberates over what to do, talking to several members of the house, who all issue their opinion. Most who seem to want Russell to go, out of what we see in the episode. Jessie cautions that he doesn't think it is the right time and that Russell is more trustworthy than Laura - which Ronnie seems to agree with, while no one else does. But in the end, It's Ronnie's decision, and Laura is the one who is hottest on his trail.
As such, when Jeff takes himself off the block, Ronnie puts up Jordan. Jordan is shocked while Laura hears the bell toll. Ronnie explains in confessional that Jordan is well liked and no one wants her gone just yet, so this is a play to get rid of Laura. I can't imagine it not working, honestly. Can you? How much longer will Ronnie last, playing the game as aggressively as he has been? Will Jordan ever learn how to tell time properly? Or even how may quarters are in an hour? (Seriously? 45?)

okay...so Ronnie finds someone to give him a gun, tells everyone he has the gun, loads the gun, removes the safety, points the gun at Russell's head, ****s the hammer (it's not a double action gun), but then does NOT PULL THE TRIGGER???
well, if you're gonna do all that, Ronnie, you better be sure to finish the job, because now Russell is on notice and has reason to kill you (in self-defense no less). Ronnie, dude, do you think Russell won't hear about your plans to backdoor him?? i think we can all figure out where the gun will be pointing now (at that giant target Ronnie put on his own back).
I'm so happy that at least Jeff won the POV. yay.
okay, so now the 2 "popular" girls are nominated. out of the 2, i'd probably rather see Jordan stay (but Laura isn't that bad so far). Ronnie is a damn coward.
I agree Ronnie just screwed himself, too much game too early. I personally think he is scared of Russell and Jessie and thats why he has been such a wus.
This is turning out to be like the season the Nerd Herd ruled. Jessie is the worst!
Ronnie thinks he's smarter than everyone else and he's such a megalomaniac he doesn't realize everyone sees right through him. What an idiot. I can't imagine he lasts through August.
They did a horrible job editing this show. So much happened on the feeds. Ronnie told Laura, Jeff, and Jordan that he was going to bd Russel. Then Natalie and Jessie told him not to. So he told Jordan he wasn't going to. She told him that he might as well not talk to her because he always does what Jessie/Nat want, regardless of the promises he gives. He got ****ed that she called him out, and that's why he put her up, even though he swore on his wife that he wouldn't. Thursdays show will be interesting.
Yep. Ronnie is playing hard too early in the season. Has he not seen this show before? He'll be up next week and most likely will go home before August is through.
Laura is smarter than we give her credit for. Jessie and Natalie are a couple of tools - worthless. I'm cheering for Kasey, Jeff and Kevin. They're not playing too hard yet, but just give them time.
I certainly hope Laura stays. I'm starting to really like her. Although her yapping off to everyone could cost her the game.
Peace.
This is def up there as one of the worst seasons. I'd say it's worse than the strike season BB. Ronnie def is playing his cards too soon, and he totally looked like a chicken-sh!t when he had to replace Jeff's nomination.
Ronnie, you're a d-bag and you don't deserve anything in life. No wonder you're a loser who listens to Legally Blonde soundtrack(seriously?) and needs the protection of the jocks.
Never seen a cast of such unlikable people. Don't even get me started on Kevin, Chima and Lydia. Anyhow, my Tivo has canceled my BB season. I just can't stand these losers anymore.
I hope Casey or Jeff wins!!
Hey...I also like Laura now...i was not a fan at first but she has definitely grown on me...to bad she will most likely be leaving tomorrow. The only 2 I want to win are Jeff and Casey...it will be horrible if any of the others win...Jordan & Michelle are in the middle but still not as deserving...but the rest make me sick pretty much...even russell looks decent next to the rest. I cant stand so many of them so its hard to say who I want to leave next...its been a long time since ive disliked a group so much...team jeff needs the next few HOHs for any of them to make final 2.
ohh and I am hoping for an americas choice that will let the house guest know who america likes best...its always so much fun when they realize america hates them
why would ronnie put up the two hottest girls in the house?
Did anyone stick around to watch the very end of the episode after the credits rolled? It was Ronnie in the diary room saying that he found $1.50 in quarters stuck in his *** crack. I swear to God I am not making this up! I will never touch another American quarter again just in case it was one of the ones in Ronnie's ***.
I loved when Laura basically told Jordan that she was stupid and then they both cried and hugged. It was like Lavergne and Shirley was back on the air.
I know that I have been pretty rough on Chima but she is actually quite attractive with all that make-up on. I think she looked good when she was watching the movie with Casey. Of course I still hate her but like to fly the props kite every once in awhile.
Russell is cagier than I am whenever Nate Birkus makes an appearance on Oprah! Russell is going to blow people and I hope he goes off on the big one with Ronnie cause I just know Ronnie will start to cry and poop $1.19 into his gold speedo!
