Ronnie_bigbrother11_290 The first HG sent packing on 'Big Brother 11' was Braden, thanks to Ronnie's sneakiness. What damage can he do as HoH?

The house is now clearly divided and Jordan, Casey, Michele, Laura, Jeff, and Ronnie are trying to suss out the traitor in their midst. Ronnie immediately fingers Michele, exactly the clique member he has told Lydia, Kevin, Natalie, Russell and Jessie he can control. All this makes Ronnie gleefully dub himself Darth Ronnie. It's hardly a name to strike fear in the hearts of the Jedi or the rebel alliance, but at the same time, he is playing the game better than anyone else at the moment. But not perfectly, as Laura is completely convinced that he is the rat. It's a fact she can't keep to herself, firmly putting a target on herself.

Playing a far less perfect game is Michele, who tells Chima that she voted for her. I don't know what purpose that served other than to make Chima look a little unhinged for a few moments and I don't think it would take putting a target on yourself to get Chima to through a hissy fit. Jeff can't figure out why Ronnie isn't more nervous about the turncoat, and Ronnie gloats to the other half of the house that Jeff is "rampaging". It looked more to me like he was sitting on the edge of a bed trying to think, but OK. Rampaging. Sure.

Seeing Ronnie's HoH really cements his geek status, as he shows rapturous joy at receiving a CD of Legally Blond: The Musical and a giant bubble wand. Are we sure he isn't an 10 year old girl? Soon enough he's meeting with different HGs in the HoH room, and attempts to convince Jeff, Jordan, Laura, and Michele that Casey is acting like he's scamming them after Casey reminds then all that they don't know for certain who flipped their vote.

Dan The Luxury Competition is for two HGs to get to see The Ugly Truth. I don't think seeing Gerard Butler should be a luxury. It is a god-given right! That aside, Dan - the winner of last season - returns to host a game show style competition that had the boys and girls trying to figure out how well they really know each member of the opposite sex. It turns out that Casey and Chima know the most and what Casey knows most of all is that he would rather spend time with anyone other than Chima. I know that the real ugly truth is that I will never be able to unsee Ronnie in a gold bikini, wielding a light saber with Princess Leia buns.

Dan tells Chima and Casey that they get to chose which group is this week's Have-Nots (H-Ns) and Chima immediately wants it to be the Populars. Casey wants to give that hardship to the Athletes and he suggests Paper-Rock-Scissors to settle the matter. Instead, Chima threatens to get him evicted, since her clique is in power. Casey apologizes to the rest of the HGs, and pins the decision for the Populars fate firmly on Chima who smiles smugly. Why is she a brain, exactly?

Ronnie is still trying to use his brain and he wants to backdoor Russell. He tells this to one half of the house while asking the other half if Russell is really safe, suggesting that the other half of the house is telling him to put Russell up for eviction. Russell knows better than to trust anyone, so he asks Jessie if Ronnie is being cool and Jessie is so snowballed by Darth Ronnie that he incredulously defends him, telling Russell that Ronnie is scared on his behalf.

When the Nomination Ceremony arrives, it seems that all the conversation from Jordan, Jeff, Laura, Chima, Casey and Michele did little good, as Ronnie puts up Jeff and Laura. He tells the HGs that he promised his wife and family that he would play strategically, not personally - but several of the HGs seem to take it personally. As Casey states, one half of the house may not trust him at all now.

Will that change is Ronnie does successfully backdoor Russell? Was Ronnie gloating up in the HoH room about how Jeff was "rampaging" and he could completely control Michele game play or an attempt to be accepted by the group as being cool enough to hang with them? Does he know any metaphors that do not have something to do with the Star Wars universe?

I loved both Jeff and Casey's comments about Ronnie's HOH room and the look on Casey's face was priceless...I watched BBAD and it turns out that it wasn't Legally Blonde the musical but the soundtrack to the movie. My thing is that there are about 4 more days until the Live Eviction so anything can happen so it is possible Russell could go home but I doubt it.

something tells me that Ronnie was gloating a little too much, which usually doesn't bode well in the BB house. visions of Kaysar and something about the role of hubris in Greek tragedies running thru my head....

i am firmly planted with Team Jeff at this point.

i don't think either side really trusts Ronnie but he might get a little redemption with Team Jeff (and me) if he actually managed to backdoor Russell, but good luck with that. POV would have to go their way and then could they get the votes anyway? regardless, i think Ronnie has put a giant target on his back.

wow, Chima was annoying tonight (loved how she was throwing around Ronnie's HOH, even to Ronnie's dismay). the luxury comp was actually pretty entertaining, and it was great to see Dan. he was def one of BB's best, if not the BEST.

team jeff

Seeing Ronnie in that gold speedo turned me straight! Who knew? I guess it was a choice. Huh.

Chima is mean! I don't like her at all. Why she had to slam Jeff during the luxury game is beyond me. And then putting the populars on slop like she has any power in the house? Definately not one of my favorites in the house right now.

I agree with you Billybob, Chima is mean and just asking for it. And is it me or are her lips getting bigger and bigger with each day in the BB house? I think she's stuffing them with some of that slop!

I have to say it was a pretty boring episode last night. Dan is still my least favorite winner on BB. Not sure why they brought him back. I guess Evil **** and Janelle were out of town.

I'm cheering for Team Jeff and the rest of his group. But they need to step it up this week and stir things up.

Peace.

JVice...I thought we lost you! I agree...chima is horrible...ronnie drives me crazy...I am pretty sure Laura will be leaving us this week...the russell possiblity is very unlikely. I really hope someone from team Jeff wins HOH this we, it is our only hope. I would like to see Jessie, Ronnie, Chima or Natalie go next. The whole house needs to get them out not just team jeff.

Jessie, Natalie, Chima or Lydia got to go ASAP. I agree that Dan was the best BB winner! Just as entertaining, but without the "evil-ness" of **** or Dr. Will.

JESSICA!!!! OMG!!! I said the same thing last night as I live blogged the show. Darth Ronnie shall stick!

Chima is a *****. I'm sorry, but I have never seen such uncaused for actions since... Well Evil ****! But She better be glad Darth Ronnie won HOH or she would have been so gone. I liked her Eviction speech, but she has dropped to the bottom of the barrel this week. Is it me or did Jessie's second point come out of nowhere last night?

Also the announcer calling Ronnie a double crosser was kind of odd to me. Other than that you guys have already read my mind and I am glad to see everyone in attendance from last year. Can't wait for Tuesday!

Technotronics!!!!

I'm so bummed. BB used to be such a nice summer diversion. I was looking forward to it returning. But between Jessie's return, and the generally dumb group of people in there, when it comes time to watch it, I keep determining there are other things I'd rather be doing at that time. Started by reading recaps. But now I'm not even doing that. Just thought I'd share! Goodbye BB!!!
