Markderwin_secretlifeoftheamericanteenager_240 As we speed towards the season finale of The Secret Life of the American Teenager all the little plot points are starting to come together in one big bow. Wheels are in motion, things are happening, and it is George who is orchestrating it all.

George got things going this evening with the scary announcement to Anne that he had taken photos of the guy who hit on her last week at the hot dog stand and had asked around about him. He told Anne all about David Johnson, or, at least, he mixed lies and the truth. But, he cared enough to pretend like he was stalking the guy.

George definitely won that battle, he helped Anne destroy her interview with Johnson. He successfully put all sorts of crazy ideas based on semi-truths into Anne's head, leading her to proudly cheer at the interview "gays are here, they're queer, I'm cool with it." The interview ended promptly after that little bit of gold.

It got better though, Anne came back to Johnson's office later and only put her foot further into her mouth. Johnson managed to get it out for her, but only by placing his lips there instead. Poor George, his scary little plan backfired and Anne not only got a consultant job from Johnson, but got an entire business plan as well.

Not to worry, there was more than one scary iron in the fire this week. Scary is also the idea that Mr. Boykewich not only ordered Ben to work at the butcher shop, but got Ricky a job there too. Who orchestrated that little goody? George, of course. That man is a genius, an evil, semi-wicked genius, but a genius. George didn't even know that Ricky and Ben were going to work for Bunny (played by Kathy Kinney who was Mimi Bobeck on Drew Carey). She yelled at them but good, and she yelled at them before they did anything wrong. Kathy Kinney, she's a funny lady.

For the record, Bunny managed to convince Ricky that being mean to a Boykewich, be it Ben or Leo, wasn't the greatest idea when in the Boykewich butcher shop. We'll see if that lesson sticks.

George's plans continued, going well beyond simply getting kids jobs and having Ashley talk baby nonstop on the way to school to Amy, George's plans also included the buying of a house. We don't yet know whose house he was buying or quite why he was buying it, but George got approved for a bank loan for the house this week.

One last plan of George's also went pretty well tonight. Ashley made a little too much fun of Amy's decision to have the baby adopted (George had been pressuring Ashley all night to pressure Amy), and Amy witnessed a final mocking, which led to tears and upset, but in the end all worked out in George's favor. Amy explained all the reasons why she shouldn't keep the baby, and then Ashley explained all the reasons she could. Amy's reasons were far more compelling and reality-based than Ashley's, but Ashley's were nicer, fluffier, and far more what Amy wanted to hear.

We already knew that this was coming, (and let's not call it a spoiler alert because we're not really spoiling anything) but Amy decided tonight that she'll be keeping the baby. She practically but not quite announced it to Ben, Ricky, Grace, Jack, Lauren, Madison, Alice, Henry, Jason, and Adrian who were all at her house for really flimsy reasons. Well, I guess Grace and Jack had decent reasons for being there -- they were there to tell Amy that she could get a job doing daycare at the church in the afternoons and that the baby could stay there while she was at school, and even insurance would be provided. The actual official announcement that the munchkin would be staying came later, to Anne.

You know what really thrilled me about this week's episode -- Alice and Henry were back. There they were, together, talking to Ben about Ben's new job. Oh, I don't mean "together" like "together, together," just "together" like they were talking to Ben at the same time. Unfortunately, the gruesome twosome of Madison and Lauren were back too, but even Amy found them obnoxious and annoying, quickly abandoning her desire to get a ride home from them early on.

And, my question to you -- did all the stars align just a little too much and a little too quickly with Amy getting the necessary support to keep the baby tonight? That job is way to good to be true.

The TV and Film Guy's Reviews -- our job is also way too good to be true.

all i have to say is that life does not work that way. i am a teen mom. it cool taht her friends offerd to help. but for how long? ihav no support. i was barely able 2g2 school cuz i had no support. real life teens do not get that kind of help!

Weird how everyone ended up at her house at the end. Still, I love this show. It's on ABC family so what do you expect.

Btw -I felt the same way when I saw Alice and Henry! They're like the only real couple. They fight, they make up, they fight again, but they can't stay away from each other.

I must say, Ashley's little speech at the end was freaking amazing and she showed so much maturity. I swear, she is the smartest person in the whole cast of characters.

I, too, was rolling my eyes at how everyone ended up together at the end, but hey, it was kind of cute.

Anne's new boyfriend is, I'm sorry, very lame looking, if anyone noticed that.

As for the lady at the baby store, did she recognize Amy was not 21 and was just feeling bad for her? Because 15 year-olds do NOT look like adults...

the church is always willing to help out..its just that they get mocked down cause of all the eccentrics
