Lilrounds_240 Tonight on American Idol we find out the last 3 finalists before the Wild Card round. Tune in here for live updates as the show broadcasts!

After greeting the judges and the already-voted Top 6, we relive everyone's journey to get to the Top 36. There are copious amounts of shrieking and jumping about.

The group number tonight is Katy Perry's "Hot and Cold." The girls get to kick things off up in the Red Room. The guys are on stage, sitting on chairs. I was kind of hoping they'd make Scott McIntyre dance around. I'm sorry, but c'mon. That's comedy GOLD right there, Jerry. This definitely sounds better than the other group numbers. Maybe we should take a page out of this group's book and not have so much choreography from now on, eh?

Seacrest makes us watch a video recap of last night's performances. If you need a recap, you can find one here. I stand by my choice that Ju'Not's snorefest "Hey There, Delilah" was not good. He took a five-note song and sucked all the fun out of it, so now it's a five-note song that's also boring. I also am going to continually have nightmares about Nathaniel Marshall screaming at me to keep my knees up and give him five more sit-ups.

We finally get some results. Seacrest has Lil Rounds stand up... and immediately sends her into the Top 12. Wow, that was quick. Good for her! She sings "Be Without You" again and it's still kick-ass plus she seems more relaxed (I mean, I would be too) so she's enjoying it more, I think.

There are more results right away, which is a surprise. Arianna, Taylor, Alex, Kendall and Scott are made to stand up. One is through to the Top 12. My money is on Scott, but we take a break first. Oh, Seacrest! You scamp!

Back from commercial, Seacrest sits Arianna, Taylor and Alex back down. It comes down to Scott and Kendall. Well, they aren't going to let 2 women in right away. We're on to your formula, Idol. Sheesh. Lo and behold, Scott is the one through to the Top 12. He sings "Mandolin Rain" again and I have to say, I think it was good, both last night and tonight. Do I think he gets a lot of sympathy votes? Of course. But do I also think he can sing and do I want to hear him sing while playing the piano? Yes.

The lights dim again and Nathaniel and Kristen stand up. Neither of them are through, I'm sure of it. Kristen has a Wild Card chance, maybe. But Nathaniel was horrendous. After the nationwide vote... neither of them are through to the Top 12. Not a shocker.

Von and Felicia are the next pair and there's no way either of them are through, with Ju'not and Jorge left. I hear Dial an Idol has Ju'not predicted as the next-highest vote getter after Scott and Lil. Predictably, neither Von nor Felicia are through to the Top 12. Ju'not and Jorge are brought to center stage. I hope it's Jorge. I wouldn't mind Ju'not in the Wild Card, but I really think last night was weak.

And the last person through is Jorge Nunez! Oh, happy day! I love it when the show surprises me, I thought for sure it was going to be Ju'not. Well, we have 20 minutes left people. I guess we're going to find out the Wild Card contestants now, woo hoo!!!

The Wild Card contestant hopefuls, just in a quick shot, include Jackie Tohn (REALLY?), Brent Keith (SNORE), Jesse Langseth (YAY!), Matt Breitzke (Hmm), and Megan Corkrey (YAY!). I'm also super-curious if it means the remaining 3 contestants to the Top 12 have to be women, since two men advanced each week. Hmmm.

The judges are now revealing 8 people that they want to come back tomorrow night. I figure each judge gets 2 picks each. Randy goes first and picks Von Smith. Uh, really? ("You know they call him The Shriek.") Now Kara chooses Jasmine Murray. That's fair, I think Jasmine has a gorgeous voice and just didn't pick the right song. Like I said, a Whitney voice singing a Britney song. Paula chooses Ricky Braddy. Wow, that surprises me a little. He's so unknown. But I'm glad he'll get another shot. Finally Simon chooses Megan Corkrey. YAY! Oh, I'm so glad.

That's four spots taken. Let's get the next four. As long as Jesse Langseth is one of them, I don't care that much about the other 3 spots. Getting back to results, we start with Randy again. He chooses Tatiana del Toro. OH MY EFFING GOD IN HEAVEN A;LINSE;OT8HIAWPUO4357Q    9YEPORIAhwetspoihetasALKNEOIANSE. This is so crappy, are you serious?!?! She immediately starts crying and sniffling. She reminds me of when Sandra Bullock in Miss Congeniality is watching footage of a pageant winner and goes, "OH! If I only had a brain!"

Kara now picks Matt Giraud. That's cool. He didn't pick the best song, I'm glad he gets another chance. Paula then announces (pleasebejesselangsethpleasebejesselangseth) JESSE LANGSETH! YES! That's awesome! And now Simon gives the last spot to Anoop!!! YAY! Oh, I love Anoop.

Now,  I'm super-curious about the guy/girl ratio in the Top 12. Because if they have to keep it even, then the guys might as well not even sing. If that IS the case, I'd pick Jasmine, Megan and Jesse. Also, the American Public doesn't get to vote on this one, I don't believe. I think the judges pick the 3 who go through. It'll sure be interesting.

Jorge sings "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me" again and it's even better than last night. It gets cut-off because the show ran long, but what we got to hear was nice.

Well... tomorrow night oughta be interesting. Andrea out.

THIS SUCKS. I CAN'T BELIEVE KRISTEN DIDN'T GET THROUGH. NO ONE IS VOTING ON VOCALS. EVERYONE IS SO DAMN WORRIED ABOUT EVERYONE ELSE'S LOOKS. WHAT A JOKE OF A SHOW.

nobody is voting for kristen because she is terrible. end of story.

Shame on you, Idol! They clearly just want to get the ratings up by choosing Tatiana!

Kristen has a VOICE on her. She can sing!

I'm so glad Jasmine is getting another shot. She was a victim of poor song choice. However, giving the emotional train wreck that is Tatiana another shot? She has some talent but I don't think she would hold up well to the emotional upheaval that goes along with competing each week.

Good for Von! He should be there. He is not a shrieker - AT ALL. Just got an unfair label this year. We didn't see most of his stuff on AI, so they created this shouting character. Just YouTube the guy and you'll find unbelievable performances. He's better than most on Idol from ANY season. I hope he brings it tomorrow and belts the hell out of a song. Why the heck are Lambert, Gokey, Lil and others all allowed to have their loud moments, but Von is labeled just a shouter? It's a double standard and hypocritical. He should do a song that builds and selectively show his power. Go Von!

Tatiana???? REALLY???? What did we, your loyal Idol viewers, do to you to have that nutcase forced upon us yet again? Ugh! Well, at least we get to hear Ricky Braddy again. I voted for him the first time around.

Tatiana????? Oh puleeeezzzeee. She was mediocre on her best day and damned annoying. Guess the producers think a little 'drama' is needed. Oh well, that's why they invented the mute button.

are u serious? no ju'not?

he was clearly in the top five of the whole contest.unreal,, i wont watch this show again.

Randy chose Tatiana, cuz he doesn't care about this show. He has a show on MTV (America's Best Dance Crew) that he cares for more. He has been off with his judging in the past 3 weeks, so maybe it's time for Randy to leave, and not Paula.
