2009 Super Bowl Ads -- Live Blog

Yeah, yeah, yeah ... Big Game, Big Game, Big Game ... yadda, yadda, yadda. We're tuning in for the ads. OK, the ads and the post-game episode of "The Office," which our girl Korbi raved about.

If you skipped the game -- or used the commercial breaks to get some more nachos -- you can see all the Super Bowl ads here. Because, really, can you ever get too much of seeing someone hurt in a funny way in the name of selling a light beer or snack chips?

Sorry I couldn't be involved with this one, die-hard Steelers fan here so I had to focus on the game.

None of the commercials really stood out to me this year as great, a lot more subdued than previous years. I liked the CareerBuilder.com ad with the koala punch, it was mainly funny for its length. I always liked the talking baby Etrade (or whatever) commercials so seeing a couple new ones was good.

No racist pandas this year but the Bridgestone ad with Cypress Hill came close. Listening to rap music will get your moon-wheels stolen. I didn't "get" the Sobe lizards last year, and still don't get them (even with the extra dimension).

Well, at least now I know I'll never send flowers in a box. Tonight's ad certainly sealed the deal on that front.
