RSS'The Hills': My kingdom for a flower hair-tie
Last time on The Hills, Spencer was a jerk to his sister, Audrina wanted to bring Cory the Aussie to Cabo until she found out Justin was coming, and then Audrina got naked for Justin in a pool. Yeah. That'll show 'im.
Leaving on a jet plane. Frankie wonders why Audrina isn't talking to Justin and she says it's because he's going to be hooking up with girls in Cabo. At the Villa, Audrina gets the impression she's supposed to be sleeping in Justin's room and bolts for Lauren's room. They hit the beach. In the hot tub, the guys pump Frankie for information about Audrina and he spills the beans about Cory the Aussie. Justin says he's there on a "hall pass," whatever that means. Doug then suddenly declares, "All girls are shady." Unlike you douchebags. Got it.
Stephanie and Heidi go shopping and Heidi invites Steph and her new beau, Cameron, on a double-date with her and Spencer. Yes, this ought to go well. At said dinner, Steph and Cameron are late, which gives Spencer an excuse to be snotty about the guy who has the "honor" of dating his "fabulous sister." When Steph and Cam show up, Spencer spills the beans about Stephanie going out once with Doug. Turns out Cameron is friends with Brody and Doug and that whole group of guys. Wow, this group is so friend-cesty. And way to talk about Doug the first time you meet you sister's boyfriend.
Brody's birthday dinner Justin notices Audrina's flowered hair-tie and she tells him that Cory gave it to her. The party then turns into a giant skank-fest because Doug has invited (as Lauren calls them) a bunch of "sleazies" to the house. All the guys are pumped. Lauren and Audrina (who are inexplicably the only females) look annoyed.
All episode Lauren keeps telling Audrina that she found a guy who treats her right and that she just needs to ignore Justin. Lauren is the Wise Old Sage of this show, y'all. I like her more and more with each passing week. Will Audrina take her advice? Hmmmm.
At the pool party, Justin somehow ends up with Audrina's flowered hair-tie and won't give it back. Audrina tries to splash him and flirt and get it back, but Justin won't engage and she gets mad, telling him to keep the stupid thing. So Justin swims away. Ya know, I don't like Justin... but he sure does know how to play a needy, insecure girl.
The next morning, Audrina tries to explain Cory to Justin and they snipe at each other about being "straight up." She tells him she's going to be with Cory and then tries to get her hair tie back. Justin won't give it back, saying, "You'll never have this." Oh my god, it's like a giant metaphor for his heart, y'all! Or something. Audrina snots about Justin "growing up" and walks away.
In LA, Stephanie confronts Spencer about his behavior and he of course sees no reason to apologize. He says, "If I'm trying to go meet Heidi's brother for the first time, I'm not going to be 40 minutes late!" So, it's not okay to be 40 minutes late, but it IS okay to be a jerk to your girlfriend's mom and kick her sister out of your apartment. Just wondering where the line is, Flesh-Colored-Beard Face. He then says Steph needs to be "loyal to their family" and that once she's loyal, he'll be nice to her. Oooh, the irony is stifling. Also, what is this? The freakin' Godfather? Please, please let someone put a severed horse's head in Spencer's bed.
Lauren tries once again to convince Audrina to cut Justin out of her life and turn towards Cory and the future and doing what makes her happy. Raise your hand if you think Audrina will follow Lauren's advice.

Audrina ain't done with Justin until he's done with her. He wears the pants in that relationship, no doubt about it. My only hope is that Audrina will get a clue well before JB has a baby with and/or marries someone else ...

Spencer's behavior continues to be laughably embarr***ing. And to think he voluntarily behaves like that! Doesn't he ever watch himself?
Anyway, it's nice to know Spencer's so consistently foolish. I guess that's what happens when you have a one-dimentional personality. I'm sure Heidi remains proud.
What's not to like about Lauren? She's loyal to her friends and she's fun. She seems to have a good head on her shoulders and she also seems to know how to roll with the punches.
That's why I doubt all these rumors about her hooking up with Justin (gag) and hugging Heidi (gag gag) after her runway show. She'd have to be pretty stupid to do either and I haven't noticed that level of stupidity from her so far.
Lauren's stupid moment was dating Jason, and choosing to spend the summer with him in Malibu instead of going to Paris. I think she grew up since then.
Lauren is the fakest witch on the show! She is such a martyr poor me, poor me, my friends keep screwing me over blah blah blah, maybe because you are no real friend to begin with and cant hold onto a man to save her life. I used to watch this show and really enjoy but I cant watch anymore because its ridiculous, and all we continue to do is make them more rich and spoiled by supporting the stupid show!
I mean really who wants to watch Heidi get totally controlled by Spencer, and Lauren crying because yet another friend has dropped her like a bad habit, and Lo being a complete *****! I mean cmon people! WAKE UP!
I don't think Audrina will take Lauren's advice, but I'm not 100% convinced that she should. I think Audrina and Justin want the same thing. They just need to talk and be honest with one another.

i think "Lauren is the Wise Old Sage of this show" is laughable. oh yeah, she's oh so good at doling out advice, NOT so good at living it.
anyway, i find the audrina/justin thing somewhat compelling. at least it's something we can bite into.
and i'm still enjoying spencer's moments of comic relief in this show. omg he was hilarious at the restaurant. and no this isn't spencer!!
finally, if LC thinks her fallout with heidi was all spencer's fault and makes up with heidi, that will truly prove she's as dumb as she seems. woe she forget the whole jenbunny/brody incident was instigated by heidi (not spencer), and about which heidi later took no responsibility (she claimed complete innocence about it), thus showing heidi's true colors me thinks.
p.s. where was LO in cabo??
