'The Hills': I want you to be with me
When we last left our lovely heroine Lauren, most of The Hills characters had headed off to Cabo. Justin was kind of a jerk to Audrina, Audrina was a needy girl who went back to her, and Stephanie Pratt and Brody were not getting along.
BMG Music. Chiara and Audrina dish about being in the studio and how much of a jerk Justin was in Cabo. Chiara says, "It doesn't seem like he's really interested in you unless it's a game," which might be the smartest thing ever uttered on this show. More Chiara, I demand it!
Diamond Foam & Fabric. Stephanie and Lauren go fabric shopping. Lauren says she didn't have that much fun in Cabo because of all the "skeazies"that were in Cabo. Steph dishes about her boy-toy Cameron, and Lauren invites Steph & Cam to a night out but does warn Steph that Brody will be there.
ALL House. Brody and Lauren hang out and she informs him that Steph is coming to their night out the next day. She tells him that Stephanie is in a good relationship right now and it's kind of implied that he should not ruin it. Brody is clearly spoiling for a fight with Cameron and I cannot wait for the ensuing confrontation.
Audrina and Cory's Date. Cory the Aussie fishes for info about Justin being there and Audrina tells him it wasn't anything romantic. Audrina makes sure Cory knows she shared a room with Lauren, but he doesn't seem to be buying it.
Crown Bar. Steph is pumped to introduce Cameron to everybody. Lauren and Lo arrive and everything is kosher. Lauren compliements Steph and Cam about being a cute couple. Suddenly Brody arrives and Steph looks freaked. She kind of goads Cam into confronting Brody, which is weird on her part. I say jus tleave well enough alone, but whatever.
Darkchild Studios. Brandy is recording and Audrina and Chiara are helping her look at album cover shots. Chiara asks about Cory and Audrina says that Cory is really nice but it's just not there. Audrina also confides that Justin is there (like at the studio) to have a talk with Audrina. Wow, professional. He couldnt' wait until after work?
Audrina talks to Justin, sayng she's been trying to convince herself she likes Cory when her heart is with Justin. Justin agrees, saying they have a "relationship" and that they need to try. He calls them a "Catch 22," which I don't think is the correct use of that phrase, but whatever Justin. They hug and he says, "I pretty much wanna be with you." Well... that's a ringing endorsement.
Audrina and Chiara are at work. She says that Justin said all the rihgt things and that he wouldn't do that just to play with her. Ummmm... that's maybe exactly why he would say the right things? Chiara is on the same page with me, but Audrina won't listen. Chiara doesn't want Audrina to fall back into the Justin trap. More Chiara time!
Waffle. Stephanie has lunch wth Heidi and Spencer. Awesome. I thought I'd escape a week without Spencer, but I guess not. Heidi and Spence grill Steph, which is kind of gross and Spencer rags on Cameron for not defending her in front of Brody the night before. I'm confused... are we supposed to care at all about Steph and Cameron?
Audrina has dinner with Cory. He brings her a koala bear, which is very cute. Cory kind-of invites Audrina to Australia and she basically breaks up with him. She trots out the "moving too fast" line and Cory calls her on her Justin crap. She says that Justin still has her heart and Cory takes it like a man. They leave and Audrina says good-bye. Poor Cory the Aussie. You never stood a chance against faux K-fed.
