A big ol' thanks to Tamara for letting me sub in for her this week on America's Best Dance Crew. I've never seen this show before, so that should be a hoot. Also, I hear Mario Lopez hosts. I was just saying the other day that I don't have enough Albert Clifford Slater in my life. If you think that is the end of the SBTB jokes, you are sadly mistaken, my friend. Haha.

We get a recap of last week, which involved Janet Jackson's music, which is very cool. I did a dance to a JJ medley in high school and it was awesome. There is a group named Fanny Pak? Really? Hmm. You know what would look good with a fanny pack? A giant Zach Morris cell phone. (I got a million of 'em, kids.)

Slater is wearing a fetching neon green shirt tonight. He's like a Hot Fudge Sundae in that shirt. Mmm mmm. We are down to 5 crews tonight, but we lose one. We start with So Real, Supreme Soul and Fanny Pak. The first crew in the top 3 is... So Real Crew! YAY! I have never seen you before, but I am very happy for you. The first crew in the Bottom 2 is Supreme Soul. They will be battling someone tonight. I hope that involves maces and shields and horses. Fanny Pak is safe.

Tonight involves a high school gym set and each crew getting a different activity. It's called "Bring the Beat." Cool. Each crew gets a mandatory PE class since the show assumes they were not into high school sports. Snerk. They play dodgeball and pass a medicine ball around and whatnot.

Fanny Pak do a great opening with some lockers and then start dancing with lacrosse sticks and jump ropes. This is a cool concept, I enjoy it. They eventually ditch the props and just dance, which seems like a cheat to me, but the routine is good overall. Shane Sparks says "silly" and was confused by how frenetic it was, but he seemed to like it. Lil' Mama liked it. JC is wearing quite the shiny shirt and big ol' necklace. When did he turn into a Golden Girl? He says the props kind of owned the dancers tonight. Fair enough.

So Real Crew gets the high school band. That's a cool theme. Ailyn gets the plinky-plunky strains of No Attention because her parents are finally coming to see her dance. Awww. Sniff. They are in a "band room" with risers and stuff, flinging music around and beating instrument cases. They too leave their props behind to dance. I want to see a group incorporate their props in their choreography. This is like they just stuck the props on the front of the routine and then went to their choreography, same as Fanny Pak did. Lil' Mama says they came so hard (that's what she said?) and the performance was great. JC says they made the props musical very very well. Hmm. I wanted to see more dancing with the props, myself, but yes, they were better than Fanny Pak. Sparks cites their attention to detail and their "grooving" rather than "popping."

We are now down to Boogie Bots and Super Crew. Neon AC does some ballet to prove that he's not a sexist and tells us that Boogie Bots is safe, so Super Crew is in the Bottom 2. They will be fighting Supreme Soul in just a minute. Bring on the swords! Bring on the swords!

Boogie Bots gets benchwarmers as their high school group to portray. They start off on chairs and do some great insync moves involving water bottles and unzipping their Jackets. This is great! They keep the chairs in their routine for awhile, but eventually ditch them for just straight-up choreograhpy. HOWEVER, then they bring in a volleyball. This is definitely my favorite so far. And then a FLASHDANCE ending! Awesome. JC liked the volleyball part, dug the whole routine. Sparks said it was one of their best. Lil' Mama liked the water bottle part. I liked the part where they put their minds to it, went for it... got down and broke a sweat. Rocked and a-rolled, I hadn't seen nothin' yet.

Slater tells us to put on something cute and MOVE IT into the kitchen. He then tells us that Supreme Soul and Super Crew will now battle it out. Super Crew is up first. Their theme is the basketball team. They get a trampoline and get to practice dunking. Awesome. They start out with one guy standing ON the hoop and then he flips off. It's not regulation height, but cool nonetheless. Their choreograhpy is good, they do a great job of incorporating the basketballs in their dancing. Very funky, I'm a big fan of this routine. I think Super Crew and Boogie Bots did the best tonight.

Supreme Soul gets hockey as their theme, which is cool. They practice with pads and sticks, there is a lot of potential for this routine. They have a ref call a face-off and then they dance with their hockey sticks. It's almost like astep show, it's so rhythmic. This is great.  What a bummer one of these last two crews has to go home. I think they've BOTH been better than Fanny Pak and So Real Crew. It's a shame they can't keep Supreme Soul, Super Crew and Boogie Bots plus one other one. Oh well.

Sparks says he was blown away by Super Crew, calls it beautiful. Lil Mama asks America if they are serious with having these two in the bottom 2. YES! She questions having Boogie Bots there, but I question having Fanny Pak and So Real Crew still there instead of these two. The last 3 groups have ROCKED it compared to the first two. Lame. She compliments them both. JC cites some swipes by Super Crew with a basketball that were pretty awesome. He goes on to Supreme Soul and says they did their concept very well and did really intelligent things. Yes. They kept up the schtick of being on the ice the whole time. Absolutely. Both of these routines were awesome.

It's elimination time. I'm so excited... I'm so excited... I'm so...  SCARED! Slater tells us that Super Crew is still in the running and Supreme Soul is out. I'm happy because Super Crew was really my favorite, but it sucks that Fanny Pak and So Real Crew are still in the running. AC agrees that this was a lot like the finals because both crews were so good. I agree. Bummer for Supreme Soul. Fanny Pak sucks, plus they're called Fanny Pak. Boooooo. Their banner comes down, it's very sad.

i kinda agree with the sentiment of the world:

1) fanny pack deserves their safe status (from previous shows, of course);

2) so real deserves their safe status (from previous shows, of course);

3) boogie bots got lucky, cuz they've only sporadically been good (from previous shows, again).

now, in terms of NEXT week...fanny pack and so real SHOULD be in the bottom; but, as we saw this week, america is in puppy love right now!

...though, i LOVE that supreme soul is going home, even if a week too late!

Fanny Pak and So Real are the best yes Fanny Pak was a little off this week but I would suggest watching there prom performance from two weeks ago. Boogie Bots are nothing more than a second rate Jabbawockez

Don't agree Andrea but since you've never watched the show before last night I understand. It would probably be better to have someone's opinion that had watched all season though! I really like Fanny Pak and SoReal and Supercr3w. They are all so different and cool I'll be fine with anyone of them taking the title. Boogie Bots aren't doing it for me. I hope the finale will be 2 of my favorite 3 and not like last season, which should have been Jabba vs Kaba!

Boogie Bots definately should have been in the bottom 2 last week and this week as well. They are cool, but they haven't done anything mind-blowing like Super Crew and Supreme Soul had a better performance than them this week. I can So Real Crew making it to the finals, the other crew could be anybody based on the voting.

I agree with lil mama (are u serious!!) they are two of the best crews peroid through out the season 2.. America u need to choose who u wanna see win! Not cause they cute or hot! But who are the best crew to represent America! Each One has they're own unique style that they bring to the tabe. Each crew are one of a kind in their own way!!

I.m not getting all the boogie bots hate. They are so good! Anyway FannyPak is my personal fav, but I do think it probably should be them and so real in the bottom next week. it was a bummer to see ss and sc in the bottom two but because they are so similar, I think they cancel each other out in votes. Supercrew will win now.

I can't decide if this show is rigged or not ! I'm sorry, but Fanny Pak SUCKS ! So Real Cru isn't much better. Does Randy Jackson have some financial interest in Fanny Pak or something ? I can't imagine why they keep getting passes. Super Crew and Supreme Soul are by far the best groups, how Supreme Soul can be ejected I have no idea. The judges should have refused to decide last night. Supreme Soul actually had the better performance, and several weeks ago their performance to Omarion's "Touch" was one of the most hip-hop dance routines I've ever seen.

ABDC brought back that skating group, Break Skate ?, after the judges ejected them early on, I hope they do the same for Supreme Soul.

Before this episode there was 1 team left from the East, 1 from the South and 3 from the West. I bet that if you look at the demographics of the voting population there would be a pattern. Fanny Pack has a uniqueness to them that would probably attract non-hiphop fans and gain votes across the US demographic. This is probably the same reason Kaba Modern wasn't in the final 2 last season. I'd be surprised if Super Crew doesn't win the whole thing since the Supreme Soul fanbase is most likely to move their votes that way.

Super and Supreme were both really creative and good tonight. Boggie Bots always does robots somewhere in the routine (Yeah, I get their name) but still old and boring to me, and Fanny pack banks on the girls being sexy to pull votes in. I don't mind SRC, but I still like Supercr3w for their creativity overall week to week. Boo America!

Ok, this is what I have to say. Everyone keeps mentioning about how much America needs to vote, which is true but when it comes down to the bottom 2 it is all in the hands of the judges. Last night I am not sure what happened to the judges but they mad a horrible mistake. I am not saying this because I had a favorite crew because personally I do not care for this season as much as I did season 1.
Hhen you get to the bottom 2 and the judges have to decide who stays usually they choose the team that put their heart on the floor and showed their true passion for dancing. With Supreme Soul I say this. Super Crew did ok. But it wasnt as good as SS did. Super Crew has been in the bottom 2 for the past 2 weeks. Hello Judges that should tell you something. Maybe Shane shouldnt wear his damn hat so long, JC should let his pants not fit so tight, and Lil Mama brains must have gotten twisted up in her new hair du.
I am so disappointed with this show. I dont know how Randy Jackson could let something so dumb happen. Regardless of who is the judges favorite it should not be about that. It should be about who ripped up the stage and in last nights show it was SS. They performed excellently. They used the hockey image very well and still managed to incorporate the choreography very well. They tore the stage up and these dumb ass judges didnt see that. Man this show is rigged and I do not even want to watch it anymore.
Last season, the judges were far and always chose the team that deserved to stay but as I see they are doing a bad job this year. I do not think America needs to feel sorry for Super Crew. Dont start voting for them because you feel bad and because they were crying.They were crying because they knew their preformance sucked and they deserved to be going home. 2 weeks in a row being in the bottom and you dont go home. Your performence sucked compared to SS and you still stay. Thats some bull and the judges need to realize that. Super Crew was wack last night and everyone needs to know that.
Judges all 3 of you are weak and I actually thought Shane knew what he was doing but now I am questioning his dancing capibilites because that was a terrible call. This show is rigged and I cant even watch it anymore because I am so disappointed with everyone. Very bad call... Very bad call...

I'm gonna have to disagree with you GREATLY Andrea. When you said "it sucks that Fanny Pak and So Real Crew are still in the running", i'm pretty sure that that you haven't seen any other episodes (which you mentioned in the beginning). If you watched the show, you should realize that Fanny Pak and SoReal Cru (not Crew) have been the most consistent out of all the other crews. Boogie Bots have their ups and downs (which makes it seem kind of legit for Lil Mama to call them out last night). Super Cr3w is starting to lose their momentum. Hopefully, they realized that they used up all of their amazing stuff at the beginning of the season, so if they want to stay in the game, they need to come up with some new awesome stuff.

And Boogie Bots should have gone home an episode ago.

So Real and Boogie Bots should have been in the bottom. Sure SoReal has been consistent, but they have never blown it out in a week. And they definitely have never been a top performer in any of the weeks. Same with boogie bots, the other three have had some ridiculous weeks and to think that they weren't the best three is just dumb. Super Cr3w has been very good, just because they didn't kill it as much as another week doesn't mean anything, they were still better than SoReal and Boogie Bots. Same goes for Supreme Soul and Fanny Pak, people get this right..if Fanny Pak or Super Cr3w get taken out it's gonna kill the show.

Super Crew can't be touched period in terms of technicality of routine, originality of conecpts, and overall appeal and attitude of the members. plz. ppl are lookin for booty shakin and sexy swerves. you can look outside and any tramp walking down the street or in the club for that. this show is about dancing. Super Crew or Fanny Pak. period
