Shanesparks_americasbestdancecrew2_ Judge Shane Sparks called this episode "the best" from two seasons of Randy Jackson Presents: America's Best Dance Crew. I don't know if I agree, but it was pretty darn good.

Spoilers

Host Mario Lopez doesn't dispense with many pleasantries and launches right into the results. Suprecr3w, SassX7 and Fanny Pak are the first crews to find out who's automatically moving on and who may be one of the Bottom Two. SassX7 are the only ones on the chopping block. Not a surprise.

This week is the "Video Star Challenge" where each group will have to insert 30-seconds of choreography seamlessly into the middle of their own moves.

1. Supercr3w
Song/Video: "Run It" by Chris Brown

Gotta give it up to them, the transitions from their own stuff to the video moves and back were flawless. It also helps that they have a great sense of showmanship. There was this one part where two of the guys flipped across each other going in opposite directions. Sick. The tricks were great, though there wasn't enough actual choreography in it for JC and would like to see a little more next week. Shane doesn't agree. All in all, the judges liked it.

2. Fanny Pak
Song/Video: "Wind It Up" by Gwen Stefani

They've never done a knee float before but did a solid job learning it in a short time. It wasn't perfect but big ups for getting it down as well as they did. The flair one of the guys did wasn't so hot but he got pretty close (it was more of a windmill). That being said, the choreography was great and very creative, as always. Oh, and one of the girls did a standing back flip and landed it clean. This crew should not be underestimated, which I think they are.

Between Xtreme Dance Force, Supreme Soul and Phresh Select, the only one potentially in the bottom is Xtreme Dance Force.  Also not a surprise.

3. Supreme Soul
Song/Video: "Touch" by Omarion

After what the judges considered to be a disappointing performance last week, the guys more than made up for it. Not only was their choreography dope, they had great tricks - including a sideflip by one of the guys off the stage that could've been tragic. Plus they ended with some slo-mo movement (aka "warping") that Shane really appreciated.

Phreshselect 4. Phresh Select
Song/Video: "Gimme That" by Chris Brown

Their original steps were really creative and well executed, which I appreciate. They even threw some krumping in there. And they hit the video moves too. All the judges agree that the beginning wasn't as clean as it could've been, with Shane advising that they should hit their routines a little harder.

A.S.I.I.D., Boogie Bots, and SoReal Cru are the lasts to find out which are on the bubble and, unfortunately the Boogie Bots didn't quite make it.

5. A.S.I.I.D.
Song/Video: "Like A Boy" by Ciara

I liked the ending bit they did where the girls reverted to girl behavior. Like everyone who's performed before them, the blending between the video moves and their choreography was really good. The lean-back they did as a group was impressive. JC complimented them on bringing a lot of energy to a slower paced song. Shane had them slo-mo the crotch grab because they really went for it. Lil' Mama wanted a little bit more from them, but still enjoyed it.

6. SoReal Cru
Song/Video: "Love in this Club" by Usher

They were having the most trouble in rehearsal with this crazy spin sequence that changes directions. They pulled it off well in the performance. Their opening was fantastic and I dug all their orignal stuff. They also adopted the video moves well. I sort of agree with Lil' Mama that the melding of the two wasn't quite as smooth as it could've been but, as a whole, it was solid.

With SassX7, Xtreme Dance Force, and Boogie Bots in the bottom three, only one group gets a stay of possible execution. Somewhat surprisingly, it's Xtreme Dance Force. Not that they're not good, but their performance last week wasn't as strong to me as the Boogie Bots.

Xtremedanceforce 7. Xtreme Dance Force
Song/Video: "Let Me Love You" by Mario

Since JC criticized them for being "stiff" last week, methinks this is a way for them to either redeem themselves or prove that fluidity is a weakness for them. And they chose redemption. The fluidity wasn't an issue and they matched the video moves really well. Their opening was really good and I liked the ending, though I found the tempo pick-up at the end a little...jarring. The judges dug it though.

The Bottom Two Crews
1. Boogie Bots
Song/Video: "Bump, Bump, Bump" by B2K feat. P Diddy

They added a lot of personality and humor to it, which I really dug, and they really captured that "we're a singing group" vibe. The original stuff hit hard while the video moves were smooth, but they still worked together.

Sassx7 2. SassX7
Song/Video: "I'm A Slave 4 U" by Britney Spears

If these girls can't do this number, there is no hope for them. The good news is they got it mostly right. I think the problem is they're wearing heels (boots really). It seemed like they couldn't quite carry the moves all the way through to their feet, like they had balance issues. Britney wears sneakers 99% of the time with good reason. But their original bits really did match the video well and they definitely did a good job learning the video routine.

After some deliberation, it's announced that Boogie Bots have been saved leaving SassX7 to "Walk It Out" on home.

Anyone surprised by the results tonight? I wasn't, but I was surprised there were so many mid-tempo songs. Also, I have to really give it up to everyone for learning the video choreography so well. None of the crews out right sucked, and that's commendable. Which were your favorite numbers? Any thought/comments/quetions?

thank god the cheerleaders r gone. how they got this far is beyond the concept of ... oh me forgot, they had t and a. lol but they're gone now.

I was surprised the judges praised S*** X 7 as much as they did last night, they had the easiest routine they could have gotten. I would have liked them to try to pull off some of the moves of Chris Brown or Ciara.

There really isn't a weak crew left and having an off night could send anyone of them home.

naw, there are a couple weak crews still to shave off the show before it starts gettin' tight up in there:

xtreme dance force...they impressed me at the audition show, but they aren't ready for the fire the other crews bring;

boogie bots...not enuff of a solid identity, and it seems like they are just happy to be on the show, rather than there to win it;

phresh select...pretty nice with it, but still have some heartache to experience before they burn with the hunger to compete, but hey, it's for the kids, right?

the show will be a barn burner once those crews are sent home. though, fanny pack may end up too sick for america to understand, leaving "super crew", "supreme soul", "so fresh", and "asiid".

I'm glad that S*** x7 was eliminated b/c I don't think that they could do better than this so let them leave on a high and not have them embar*** themselves in a future episode.

I was a bit worried that Boogie Bots might go b/c there are already ~4 groups who are very similar in style to them, but the others are all a lot stronger than the Bots.

I'm really starting to get aggravated by the move of having one guys do a stunt by jumping off the stage. Just end that already.

Oh yeah, and I wish that they would let Shane offer his comments last for every performance that way Lil Mama can't just crib his notes. Both Lil Mama and JC annoy me, but at least JC offers his own opinions even if I think they are rediculous. Lil Mama brings nothing to the table at all. Oh and Mario's got to go also. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that only 1 of the 4 should stay - sounds a bit like that other show that Randy Jackson is ***ociated with. And yes, I did watch the first season also.

Fanny Pak is underestimated they are the best I have seen so far.

two words.

SUPER CREW!!!!!

Fanny Pak are good but i'm tired of seeing guys dance like girls. Like its just really tiring. They only have one style. Its funny how every song they get they can relate to. A couple groups have had to come out of their personailties and dance to something thats not their style. But fanny pak keeps getting songs that are their style. They need to be challenge. I mean they got good style and they arnt messy but they just need to come out of their box.

I'm also sick of Mario Lopez, his little comments are corny and dumb. Then he even trys to dance a little. Lil momma OMG just shut up. She says the same thing over and over again. All she tells you is whats hot and all she does is agree with what JC and Shane say. Lil momma shouldnt even be on the show. I guess they needed a artiest that isnt busy. They could of got Omarion, Usher, DJ Unk. People that have made REAL songs that hit the club. Not no "chicken noodle soup" wtf is that

You know what...I just want to say a few things. To begin with I love the show. It's a lot of fun to watch...especially the SLOW-MOs that they have of the entire dance routine taken place. My biggest problem with the show and I think Mr. Jackson should consider is that he has two idiots that can't complete a full sentence using proper English. I'm not talking about J.C. Chasez or Mr. Lopez. What the hell do those other two think they are talking about when they open their mouths'. Yea, I'm hip; I get the slang they use, but when they use a word / group of words that don't have a slang derivative...then what the hell, you have to be kidding me. I mean they totally try to create another derivative to the first derivative of the original word...come the hell on will you. They need to get real and bring it to understandable terms as they might say it. They sound absolutely IGNORANT. They should consider RE-enrolling themselves into High School English again (presuming they got through it once...and by they way they sound... that's a lot for them...I think!), and learning the English language again. I'm not perfect myself with the English language by no means, but I'm not the one looking ignorant on national television either. Mr. Jackson should really listen and tune in on how they express themselves on television. What's worst is that they are representing Mr. Jacksons' Production, when he has cleaned up his act on American Idol. "I'm not feeling that DUDE!" If that weren't enough they totally give mediocre guidance to the contestants they just say, "You gotta bring it, Yo!" Aside for the unmentioned opening their mouths', the show is excellent.
