Too Many Cooks in the 'American Idol' Kitchen

By Daniel Fienberg

April 16, 07:20 PM

Davidcook_americanidol7_top12party0We did it, America! It's April 16, which means we survived both Tax Day and Mariah Carey Night on American Idol. All things considered, both big days could have been better, but they also could have been worse. But would Wednesday night's Idol results leave viewers as shocked as they were by the departure of Michael Johns last week? Let's see...

9:00 p.m. ET. What have you done this week, America? And could it possibly be worse than Back to You? So many funny people, so little funny.

9:01 p.m. "Inevitably Wednesday has rolled around again," host Ryan Seacrest says, before announcing that more than 36 million votes were cast following Tuesday's show. Then, as he does every week around this time, he ruins all of my good feelings by warning that viewer questions will, once again, be answered.

9:02 p.m. This week's Group Sing is set to "One Sweet Day," though initially it isn't a Group Sing at all. It's Jason Castro singing sharply and trading off with Kristy Lee Cook, who does the same. Brooke White emotes blandly, Presumptive American Idol Winner David Archuleta emotes sincerely, Carly Smithson emotes loudly and David Cook and Syesha Mercado sing at each other without any respect for the melody.

9:08 p.m. You still have a week to vote for this week's American Idol Songwriting Contest. Check out the list of titles here and then sound off on whether any cliched lyrical stones have been left unturned.

9:09 p.m. The only interesting thing about the recap of last night's show is Brooke's off-stage confession that Simon's "Where's the Beef?" comments hurt her feelings. Why is this the sort of thing that America's Nanny only feels comfortable sharing in the wings? She'd seem much less robotic if she didn't accept both compliments and criticism with the same Stepford smile and head-nod.

9:11 p.m. Who is heading to the plush comfort of the Elysian Couch of Paradise and who will have their buns burnt by the Infernal Stools of Damnation? Clifford the Muppet is up first and he's sent to neither location. He's just asked to form a group to Ryan's left. This means that Idol is returning to its Top Seven tradition of pulling two groups of three and making the last person awkwardly choose what group they want to join.

Jasoncastro_americanidol7_top12part9:13 p.m. Ryan asks David "The Leader" Cook about his Tuesday night tears. David doesn't play for sympathy and just says that a lot of things were happening this week and he's sent to Ryan's right. The audience's reaction suggests that they have no sense of Idol history. Carly, perhaps figuring that she's going home anyway, decides to take on Simon for his occasional negative words this season. Carly joins Jason to Ryan's left. Most people are already figuring that the Jason-Carly group is in trouble.

9:15 p.m. Did Kristy just say that Simon can be a butt sometimes? Kristy, looked darned angelic tonight, goes to Ryan's right. "How will this pan out?" Ryan asks.

9:16 p.m. Who will this year's on-the-spot contestant be? Who will have to guess which group is safe and which group is doomed? It's an honor that's been given to George Huff, Bo Bice, Taylor Hicks and Melinda Doolittle (who sat in the middle of the stage and refused to pick last year).

9:20 p.m. Already puppets to FOX and 19 Entertainment, the Top Seven play puppets in this week's Ford commercial. Set to "I Want to Break Free," this may be the first time that a Ford commercial has made total sense. Why is it so anti-climactic to see Jason Castro dressed as a puppet?

9:21 p.m. And speaking of breaking free, Elliott Yamin pops up to sing "Free." Is my favorite Jewish Idol contestant wear a talis in honor of the start of Passover this weekend? If so? Awesome. His hand reads "We Miss You Mom" in a touching tribute. Every time Elliott pops up, I feel a bit guilty for not having supported him more back in his season.

Syeshamercado_americanidol7_top12pa9:25 p.m. Back to our ambiguous qualitative segregation. Syesha Mercado, who's spent so much recent time in the Kristy Lee Cook Bottom Three Stool that it may need to be renamed, is sent to join Jason and Carly in what looks more and more like a Bottom Three group. Then again, that means that Brooke won't be in the Bottom Three, which she deserves after Tuesday's performance. Brooke is, indeed, placed with David and Kristy.

9:27 p.m. A colleague and I were discussing this Top Seven tradition today (he reminded me it was coming) and we decided that Presumptive American Idol Winner David Archuleta would have to be the Choicemaker this season, because any other singer would automatically know to go to whatever group he was in.

9:32 p.m. Oh goodie. Phone call time. Tonight's revelations: Poor Kristy can't buy back her barrel horse. Randy (Led Zeppelin, Beatles, James Brown), Paula (Jackson 5, Earth, Wind & Fire, Carole King) and Simon (Paula Abdul's Straight Up) somewhat remember their first album purchases and... Zzzzzzzzzz. I wake up to some 50-year-old woman who doesn't know the difference between "adjectives" and "analogies."

9:36 p.m. This Yankees-Red Sox game is not a pitchers' duel.

9:37 p.m. That dress Mariah Carey is wearing is an impressive piece of engineering.

9:42 p.m. Mariah loves herself some Mariah. Or maybe some Randy. I like how Mariah advises the Idol contestants to always be themselves. Anybody want to go back and check out Mariah's earliest videos to see if that gal looks anything at all like today's Mimi?

9:47 p.m. We're back in our groups again, as Ryan calls Li'l' Archie onto the stage. After Li'l' Archie (whose friends include Li'l' Jughead and Li'l' Veronica) talks about how this is the most wonderful time in his life, Ryan tells him he's safe.

9:49 p.m. Ooh, in a twist, David Cook is swapped with Syesha. Since I don't believe for a second that he's in trouble, that reverses the way the groups look. Following the advice of the crowd (and Melinda's example), David Archuleta sits down in the middle of the stage. Then Ryan reveals that the David-Carly-Jason group will be around for next week's tribute to Andrew Lloyd Webber. Will Archuleta sing something from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat or something from Jesus Christ Superstar?

Brookewhite_americanidol7_top12part9:50 p.m. So that means that the Bottom Three is Syesha, Kristy and Brooke.

9:53 p.m. Syesha is couchward bound..

9:54 p.m. Randy says it's tough every week now. Paula says everybody's special and she's proud of everybody. Simon thinks Kristy's time's up. Brooke snaps at him and gives him a good spanking. Kristy says that at least she outlasted Simon's original predictions.

9:55 p.m. Amidst many tears, Kristy Lee Cook is the latest Idol casualty.

9:56 p.m. "Can I go ride my horse now?" she asks.

Kristyleecook_americanidol7_top12pa9:57 p.m. If you make a progress chart, this was kind of the wrong choice between the slowly improving Kristy and the swiftly stagnating Brooke. If, however, you figure that voters were just going to be picking off Kristy, Syesha, Carly, Brooke and Jason in random order over the next month, it hardly matters, does it? Also, I'm optimistic that maybe this week's new Feisty Brooke will stick around.

9:58 p.m. This is one of those weeks where the exit song's lyrics are prophetic. Sitting in front of Simon, Kristy coos, "Those days of love are gone/ Our time is through."

So was this the right choice? Will anybody out there miss Kristy?

As always, check out the action in Zap2it's Guide to American Idol.

I still can't get over how everyone chose to do dreary-slow Mariah Carey songs. And next week is Andrew Lloyd Webber, which means more dreary-slow songs! I dread the thought of hearing these contestants take on "Music of the Night" or "Memory" or "Don't Cry for Me, Argentina", etc. Snooze fest.

vncntdl | Apr 16, 2008 7:43:07 PM | #

She seems like a nice girl, but I think it was her time to go. She's improved a lot over the past few weeks. Unfortunately, she's just not as good as some of the other people.

I think that there's no real doubt that the Davids will be the last two, unless they have some sort of meltdown. The other 4 need to step it up.

No offense, but I'd like to see Jason go next. He has a nice voice, but he hasn't sung anything particularly difficult.

Natalie | Apr 16, 2008 7:54:19 PM | #

I agree that at this point, it doesn't really matter the order they leave. Does anyone really care about unspectacular 3rd-6th place finishers...aka any season NOT Season 5...and Melinda. That's it.=P

The only musical piece I know or like is Close Every Door. I can see David Cook doing it. I think he'd do well with that. America would eat that up.

Hyvent | Apr 16, 2008 7:58:56 PM | #

I kinda agree with the point made. Really, kristy, brooke, jason and sayeesha are bound to go within the weeks to come, with the final 2/3 pretty much allready being decided. I think kristy was started to get better each week, and in my opinion deserved the spot more than brooke, but like i said, they'll be getting kicked off anyway..

Someone | Apr 16, 2008 8:21:58 PM | #

This week was sort of a wash. Kristy, Syesha and Brooke were probably all equally bad. So it went more with past performance and the fact that syesha was more suited to sing mariah then Brooke or Kristy. Brooke has earned a loyal fan base more then Kristy.

Jason S. | Apr 16, 2008 10:25:18 PM | #

Is anybody else over the moon that Mariah and Elliott appeared in the same show. For a minute there, I thought it was my birthday because my 2 favorite singers came on. Incredible!

Anyway, I'm a little stunned that Carly is not in the bottom 3 considering the mess she maid last night. As for David sitting, he stole that move from someone some seasons ago. He should've just chosen, sitting there cost him some coolness points. Next week, Jason C. has to go!

Ritchie | Apr 16, 2008 10:48:52 PM | #

AHH!! what is wrong with America?!? Why is Jason Castro not even in the bottom 3?!? What are people smoking?!?
Seriously though. Do we want another Taylor Hicks? Stop voting for dumb people and start voting for people who can sing!
Why is Syesha constantly in the bottom 3? and I may not be able to sway the drugged up Jason fans, but everyone agrees that Kristi should've stayed longer than Brooke. right?

edgar | Apr 17, 2008 1:07:35 AM | #

I love Brooke and her wonderful personality and I hope she stays after Syesha, Jason, and Carly.
JMHO
I think the songs will be awful next week....sigh.

GO BROOKE!!!

Grace | Apr 17, 2008 2:12:57 AM | #

I'm glad Brooke stayed only b/c if she got eliminated the week after she missed her sister's wedding would've just been wrong.

It seems to be a consensus at this point that the David's will be the final 2 and the others are just singing for 3rd.

Rishi | Apr 17, 2008 3:16:59 AM | #

Kristy's improved greatly over the past few weeks while Brooke has steadily declined.....by all rights based on performance, Brooke should have been the one to go.

Jennifer | Apr 17, 2008 4:31:25 AM | #

Ha ha! Carly wasn't in the bottom as so many predicted. Stop hating and recognize her talent. :)

Tats are cool! | Apr 17, 2008 5:09:29 AM | #

Brooke or Carly should have gone before Kristy. I'm not a big fan of hers, but unlike Brooke or Carly, Kristy has shown improvement. But we all know this is really not a singing competition, but a popularity contest. This is the worst crop of singers ever on AI.

Susan | Apr 17, 2008 5:15:40 AM | #

Nice to see Elliott, so sad about his mom. Didnt like the beginning of the new Mariah song but the end was good despite some messed up and too loud background vocals! And boy did the group butcher One Sweet Day. Oh well those group numbers arent made to be quality arrangements.
.........
This results show actually kept me guessing. I was definitely confused with the groupings until they had David C and Syesha switch. Soooo funny to have David A be the bad guy but I knew he wouldn't actually choose between the groups. And then I REALLY wasn't expecting KLC to go home after she's been doing better. But really she could have deservingly gone home 4 weeks ago. So really, its worked out ok for her. She has stuck around the competition long enough to pretty much guarantee a country career. If she would have left too early that might not be the case. ALW/ Broadway next week should be interesting but will unfortunately lead to another week of power ballads.

Erin | Apr 17, 2008 5:19:37 AM | #

Next week will be torture!!

But it's "Archie"'s moment to shine; he'll totally be in his element with ALW's songbook...oy!!

Caro | Apr 17, 2008 5:35:57 AM | #

I hate how Idol seems to be picking on Archie a bit (yes, ok, I agree with Dan's point), but they enjoy making him flustered (remember week one when Ryan make some lame joke, and David was like, "I'm 17 man."; asking him about prom, etc.) Like or hate the guy and his singing, there's no reason for Idol producers to constantly embarrass him. He and David C are the reason alot of people tune in, so they should be nice to the hand that feeds them. Yes, ok, maybe if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen applies, but it's not like the producers and Ryan constantly targeted Reuben's weight, Clay's ears, K-Lo's weight, Phil Stacy's bald head, week after week in season's past. Don't understand why Jason's still here and Brooke is still getting on my nerves.

John | Apr 17, 2008 5:46:52 AM | #

Predictions: David A.: Any Dream Will Do. David C.: Any random broadway cover by Me First and the Gimme Gimmes. Carly: Tire Tracks and Broken Dreams from Whistle Down The Wind. Brooke: You Must Love Me.

Any ideas for Jason or Syesha?

Nonnie Muss | Apr 17, 2008 5:50:21 AM | #

I will miss KLC. I agree at this point there is really no order. They all could go at any time. KLC will do well and making it this far was good for her. I think if we were going of this weeks performance, Brook should have went home or Jason Castro. Jason Castro sucks. He is boring when he sings.

Ray | Apr 17, 2008 5:55:06 AM | #

I know most people are dreading another dreary outing next week with ALW night on Idol, but there are some upbeat songs ("Jesus Christ Superstar," anyone?) that can be done. But am I the only one hoping David Cook attempts "Gethsemane"?

Lyssa | Apr 17, 2008 5:56:44 AM | #

Did anyone else think it was in bad taste for Mariah to sing a song about "bye bye" that was about someone dying rather than a breakup on the night that David's ailing brother was in the audience?

And wasn't it the most boring song ever? And does she have to do that pretend conducting thing with her right hand all the time?

Shira | Apr 17, 2008 5:59:43 AM | #

The producers are clearly in control, as they have blatantly flown in the face of the nationwide vote. Kristy was nowhere near the bottom on DialIdol, but the producers must've figured we needed another shock, like with Michael.

Carly makes no real connection with America, but there must be some sort of contract that gets her through to the end. She, David Cook and Junior will be the final 3.

KLC wil head off to Nashville now, and undoubtedly be the first of these Idols on the radio this fall.

Word Money G | Apr 17, 2008 6:02:16 AM | #

KLC is the smartest young lady I've ever seen on American Idol. Stellar song choices, the right combination of spunk and modesty and a not-to-awful (hmmm...but she IS improving)voice gave her enough national TV time to guarantee a career in country music, modeling or a spot on Dancing with the Stars. She'll certainly make enough money to buy her damn horse back from that meanie. As another career option, how much money do women barrel racers make on the rodeo circuit? (KLC could make a little extra $$$ by also singing the national anthem before she climbs on the horse.)
Speaking as an almost 50 year old not so boring mom, I can think of several very nice adjectives for the missing Michael Johns.
Does anyone else think that Carly escaped the bottom three because she covered her tatoos and wore a low cut dress? (Another smart move.) She's not my personal favorite but she can sing.
Never heard the Archie and Jughead comment before - very funny!!! It's enough to make me forgive you for your remarks about my Aggie love child from Texas, Jason.
Can't wait for next week's show. Brooke and ALW are an unlikely combination. And I can't wait to hear the only person in the world responsible for Mariah Carey's success tell a contestant that they're pitchy again.

linnb | Apr 17, 2008 6:03:15 AM | #

I really enjoy David Archuleta's singing WHEN HE SINGS BALLADS but I truely believe that if he needed to sing an upbeat song he would struggle with it. I think that David Cook is so talented being able to take a song and change it up the way he does and it still sounds great. He has sung slower songs and sounded great and upbeat songs and sounded great. I feel he has a good future ahead of him in music.

djsickles | Apr 17, 2008 6:15:37 AM | #

Word Money G-

I track dialidol too but it is by no means something you can away bet on. It evens accounts for its own margin-of-error. The site only tracks the contestants' phone number's busy signals- the more busy signals the more it suggests people are voting for that person/number. But it doesnt know exactly how many votes got through. And even more significant is that the site doesnt track text votes, which are unlimited. So there is a huge margin-of-error really. Dialidol is a little more accurate for DWTS because that show limits your votes per person and typically has less votes.

Erin | Apr 17, 2008 6:31:18 AM | #

I wasn't a Kristy fan until she called Simon a Butt. I love how the contestants are starting to have enough of him, how the call in question called him out on make no sense ever. And basically how he manipulates the votes and has nothing constructive to say ever. It always makes me laugh when he's talked about as the best judge. LOL Paula and Randy out judge him everytime. They just don't have the English accent that brainless Americans fall for every time.

Beth | Apr 17, 2008 6:32:25 AM | #

Jason and Brooke should have gone before KLC but, they'll all be going home soon, there is only one winner. Whatever order they go in now is fine with me.

Chris | Apr 17, 2008 6:33:08 AM | #

To be honest, as long as Carly sticks around for a while, I'll be happy. Syesha is a lesser version of all the divas she tries to emulate. Brooke White is very limited in her choice of songs, as her range is as broad as a supermodel's ass. Jason Castro too has a very limited range but makes up for it with the coolish coffeehouse versions of songs that he sings. He's cute and fun but I don't think that I'd make it through an entire set. I'm thoroughly bored with David A and I don't think that his voice will translate all that well onto a CD. If you've heard the Studio Versions of the idols' songs, it's easy to pick out who will make the best record. Michael Johns', Carly Smithson and David Cook have all recorded some fantastic versions of their songs. The slight flaws in their voices(Johns' occasional sharpness, Carly's shouting and Cook's weaker lower register) are all cleaned up nicely by the beauty of tech.

Syesha, Jason and Brooke(and even David A.) can go in any order. I could really care less.

Michael | Apr 17, 2008 6:42:43 AM | #

I agree with another poster, all Mariah needed was a baton or maybe a wand. Her advice-
Be yourself or something like that from Mariah or Mimi.

Jason should have went before Kristy. She has shown improvement but she will do well in Nashville. What is Jason going to do, The Muppet show isn't on the air anymore. Next week, Dreadful Locks will be gone.
It doesn't matter the order because Battle of the Davids is on.

jt | Apr 17, 2008 7:11:12 AM | #

I'm really looking forward to next week's ALW theme, as long as David Archuleta doesn't sing "The Music of the Night"--how horrible would that be? I think he'll go with "Close Every Door" or "Love Changes Everything." Carly would be great singing "Take That Look Off Your Face." I'm sad that Kristy Lee Cook is gone, because I was hoping she could sing U.N.C.O.U.P.L.E.D.

Xannie | Apr 17, 2008 7:24:30 AM | #

The girls will be bumped off one-by-one in the next three weeks; I would guess Brooke, Then Carly, Then Syesha...leaving the three boys....then finally Jason Castro will go, leaving a David and David finale.....I have spoken.

Michael | Apr 17, 2008 7:45:17 AM | #

These theme nights are entirely too confining and I don't belive they demonstrate the best way to showcase a singer's talent. Let's face it, The Beatles were hard for the women to sing. Dolly Parton's songs were difficult for the men. And Mariah Carey? It's not like her portfolio is overflowing. There really were not a lot of songs for these singers to choose from. Next week is show tunes night and then Neil Diamond is still on the schedule. Whatever happened to Country Night (much broader than Dolly night) or Disco Night? How about a Rock 'n Roll night? I'd really like to hear David A. sing something more than a power ballad.

John D | Apr 17, 2008 7:51:18 AM | #

Andrew Lloyd Webber notoriously has written his songs to only be sung by the likes of Sarah Brightman (the original female lead in 'Phanton of the Opera' in England). She was a professionally trained singer. These kids won't be able to handle his music - way too complicated and not conducive to the styles of these vocalists.

It's why you don't find his stuff on the Top 40 charts.

Becca | Apr 17, 2008 8:19:28 AM | #

Beth-
Paula outjudges Simon? I can't understand a word she says!

Julie | Apr 17, 2008 8:38:11 AM | #

I think we're all missing the most important question.

Was Kristy Lee eliminated early enough to guarantee a Playboy spread. Hef will buy her horse back for her.

Jason S. | Apr 17, 2008 8:49:30 AM | #

I am really hoping that David Cook sings "Heaven on Their Minds" from JC Superstar next week.

I wouldn't be surprised to see David A. whining about "Memories." And then my distaste for him will reach a new level.

Astrid | Apr 17, 2008 9:08:45 AM | #

I guarantee it'll be a country layout setting for Playboy...with just cowgirl hat, boots and a saddle

The World | Apr 17, 2008 9:28:19 AM | #

Sad to see Kristy go.

Trupen | Apr 17, 2008 9:32:33 AM | #

I am gong to miss Kristy. She seems like such a nice person. She handled Mariah night well for a country girl. I think she could end up with a very successful career. They showed on Dolly Parton night that there have been Idol conestants other than Carrie Underwood that have had a great run in Nashville.

Penny | Apr 17, 2008 9:40:08 AM | #

Well, I will miss Kristy; I felt she was improving and just getting her confidence back after losing her voice to illness early in the season.

I suppose all the haters will have to go back to kicking puppies and throwing Kittens off roof tops to see if they land on their feet.

I might join the conspiracy chorus that Idol is rigged, since Dial Idol had KLC safe, and Ryan didn't actually say KLC had the lowest number of votes, just she would be leaving tonight. Actually that was a little fun.

Seriously, I felt based on Tuesday's performances that KLC should have stayed and Brooke should have left. Brooke lost her song and didn't recover. Don't even get me started on Jason, his popularity I don't get, nor Simon's gushing.

With the exception of David Cook, I think Kristy actually has the potential to sell more records than anyone left on the show. Note the word "potential"; I think David C. has the potential to be huge. But given Idol's success in the Country format I think KLC could be very successful also. She won't be another Underwood, but could match Kellie Pickler's performance and I think KLC is a better singer.

jbw | Apr 17, 2008 9:40:49 AM | #

Dude get over the Brooke hate.
You don't have to like her just quit hateing on her in the blog

Dan | Apr 17, 2008 9:43:56 AM | #

Please, to those of you who are saying mean, nasty, and disgusting things about David A. remember that if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all. Our culture has deterioated to the point where our young children think that insults are the norm.

Jen | Apr 17, 2008 9:46:01 AM | #

Kristy may have been getting better, but you can look at it this way - All those people who voted for Michael Johns now have more time to vote for other people. And it would make more sense for those people to vote for someone similar - and that is not KLC, Brooke, or Syeshia. I know not voting for him allowed me more time to vote for David C & Carly.

MDEP | Apr 17, 2008 9:52:50 AM | #

I was afraid brooke and Carly were going home so I spent my time voting for those two. Probably 70% Carly 30% Brooke.

After Jason's first performance he was my favorite and I thought he was going to win. Then afte You're So Vain and Love is a battlefield Brooke was my favorite. But after Billie Jean, Little Sparrow(my personal favorite performance this year) and the Mariah Carey song David Cooke is my definite favorite. But I was scared for Carly so I voted more for her.

Here's how it should go

1. David C.
2. Jason C.
3. Brooke
4. Carly
5. Syesha
6. David A.

Here's How it will go

1. David C.
2 David A.
3 Jason C
4 Brooke
5 Syesha
6 Carly

Jason S. | Apr 17, 2008 10:32:10 AM | #

This is for JOHN who mentioned about Archuleta getting picked on.

I don't necessarily think the producers are picking on him specifically. I think they're just trying to open him up a little since he's so popular. He's naturally a shy guy and is probably not used to answering so many questions about himself. That's why he seems awkward and embarrassed when he answers. The peeing comment from Seabiscuit was outta line but the other thing when Arch said "I'm 17" is when Ryan said "but you can only vote for him, you can't adopt him" so it's not that bad. And yesterday, you had to see it coming. He's the only one who coulda picked without it being too obvious who was top/bottom.

Hyvent | Apr 17, 2008 10:40:00 AM | #

Seemed like Brook was more upset about Kristy Lee leaving than Kristy was.

Also when Ryan asked David to pick the three he thought was safe, he should have ran out and sat with the judges.

it | Apr 17, 2008 11:08:36 AM | #

Kristy should've stayed, Jason needs to be gone, soon. It's a singing contest and there's no comparison here.

Sean | Apr 17, 2008 11:38:06 AM | #

Someone earlier said that this was the worst group of singers ever. I think it's a really great group of singers, but they are a little boring. For me, there's really noone who makes me want to tune in. As bad as Sinjaya was, at least he made you want to watch...

Tess | Apr 17, 2008 4:37:15 PM | #

It's now time for Kristy Lee to join Josh Gracin, Bo Bice, Bucky Covington, Kellie Pickler, Phil Stacey and of course Carrie Underwood in Nashville, Tennessee!

cm | Apr 17, 2008 5:25:06 PM | #

Yes it was time for KLC to go home. She wasn't awful, just not good enough. It was either going to be her or Carly, and I was pleased...except for the fact that Brooke was in the bottom 3! She was really good, and I knew she would stay. I don't know what people are smoking!

And doesn't Mariah look as good as she's ever been?

Shaun | Apr 17, 2008 10:49:25 PM | #

I've never been a KLC fan, but I do think she should have stuck around another week. Brooke is showing how limited her ability is more and more each week, and her saccharine personality is SERIOUSLY getting old. Time for her to go. I wish we could vote her AND the Stoner Muppet out next week.
