Last week on 'America's Next Top Model', Marvita talked herself out of being a model but apparently didn't merit a "never-in-my -life-have-I-yelled-at-a-girl-like-this" meltdown from Miss T. Damn. Doesn't Tyra know that her particular brand of crazy is the reason we tune in?

Claire compliments Aimee on her beautiful skin and photos, and talks to her husband on the phone. Her baby is so beautiful, and it's clearly so hard for Claire to be away from her and from her husband. Dominique has a habit of setting her alarm hours early and sleeping through it, waking all of the other girls in the bunks. Claire confronts her about this, backed up by Anya (at least, I think Anya backs her up. I really can't understand a word that comes out of that girl's mouth.) Lauren tries to intervene until Dominique tries to "put her in her place", and then wow I just remembered that Lauren's from Brooklyn. Heh. Whitney, still stewing from last week's allegations of racism, jumps in with both feet. Dominique thinks that Dominique is just so strong that the other girls are just trying to tear Dominique down. DOMINIQUE DOMINIQUE DOMINIQUE. I've never seen anyone so infatuated with her own name.

The Scroll of Doom reveals that the girls are sick? Maybe they're off to a clinic of some kind? Tyty drives the limocab to a dance studio and oh lord I am giddy at the thought of Lauren in a movement clinic. Tyra's sporting fingerless armwarmer gloves? I don't know. It looks like she's wearing something from the Patricia Field Flashdance Collection, exclusively at Walmart. And I love it. Then Tyra "acts" like she's sprained her ankle, transitioning into a lesson about posing with pain. She starts writhing on the floor, and THIS is the brand of crazy I signed up for! Anya and Whitney rock the ensuing pose-off, and Dominique impresses Tyra by bringing her high-fashion game. Lauren is predictably gawky/awkward/bad. Back at the pad the scroll reveals that the pose-off was a challenge and Anya is the winner. And her prize is an incredibly notable solo shoot with Noted Fashion Photographer Nigel Barker!

I would imagine one of the first lessons a young model learns is that if you show up alone for a shoot, and Nigel Barker tells you to strip naked and get into bed, you RUN. FOR. THE. HILLS. Anya unfortunately has forgotten her rape whistle and obliges. She looks absolutely amazing. If this is what bleaching your eyebrows does for a girl, sign me up. Back at the house, Aimee reminds us that she personally is too Mormon to take her clothes off. Dominique tries to sleep while Claire, Whitney and Lauren bond over their shared interests: namely, hating Dominique. The next morning, the scroll reveals ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. And we're off to Williamsburg! Claire and Lauren must be so comfortable. Mr. Jay tells the girls that they will be posing as styles of music. What now? Russell James is their photographer, and once again, nicely played, show! Fatima is "metal rock" in Bret Michaels drag, but she overthinks her posing again. Katarzyna, in Christian Siriano hair, looks amazing as - Avril Lavigne? Oh, emo. Poor Lauren staggers out as "pop" in vinyl hooker boots and reminds us again that she is punk rock. Claire is "country" in a Marilyn Monroe wig! Whoo hoo! But she misuses her body in the shots. Dominique is "folk music" with long Judy Collins hair and lots of ruffles. She actually looks oddly like Barbra Streisand, which...the mind boggles. Anya is punk in a platinum 'fro and skinny tie. Stacy-Ann is trance, or house, or something, and does her usual 5 Stacy-Ann poses. Aimee, the girl in the house with absolutely NO soul, portrays R&B. Poorly. Whitney is "grunge" and people, you do not tie a flannel shirt around the hips of a plus-sized girl. That's just cruel. Regardless, she tears it up.

Panel! You know the drill. Russell James guest judges. Whitney's photo is "the real thing", and Fatima rocks her body in her film. Anya needs to find her light, but her photo is fierce. Lauren does some amazing leg work in her photo, but Miss Jay warns her that if she doesn't perk up in panel she's history. Aimee and Stacy-Ann are bland, and Katarzyna is going to get her hair chopped off in real life. Good call. Claire has her worst shoot - she's too hard for country. Dominique gets a good shot, but she has trouble working her face and body at the same time. The bottom two are Aimee and Claire (what now?!) Aimee already knows she's going home, and she is.

Next week: go-see week!

I feel like they only put Claire in the bottom two to manufacture drama. There is no reason for Stacy-Ann to keep skating by, week after week. And I really thought Aimee was a contender. You?

Dragonique is killing me. I shudder whenever she's on screen. The utter cluelessness, the selfishness, the just-won't-shut-up non-stop jabbering, and that crazy evil eyebrow!!! JUST STOP!!!! Let me tell you something, Dragon...nobody "wants what you got", so please take that overinflated ego and stuff a sock in it.

On a different note, I totally agree that putting Claire in the bottom 2 was a silly and transparent move, just for drama. Stacy-Ann was awful, Anya was a big nothing, and don't even get me started on Fatima...that was just embarrassing. Funny how when they showed Claire having her photo shoot, there were plenty of shots of her doing the whole perky country-gal thing, big smiles, all animated and such...but they chose a bad picture to show at panel so they could talk the trash to her. Not very professional in my opinion.

And OHHH, how sleazy was that soft-core porno shoot that Anya was tricked into??? Mr. Nigel Barker, noted fashion photographer, was it necessary for her to be naked on a bed? NAKED ON A BED??? Wow. Your wife must be very proud of that one. Eeeewwwww.

Is it just me, or is this season more rife with painfully thin girls than the previous ones? Fatima and Claire especially--I just want to hand them a sandwich every time they show up.

If I have to hear one more variation on the "They don't like me because they're threatened because they're jealous because they know I'm strong because I'm the best" from this or any other reality show, I'm going to take a hostage. Fiercely. I don't know anyone, and never have, who would say anything like that. Where do they find these people? Under rocks? The world is made for those who are not cursed with self-awareness.

Fatima especially looks incredibly unhealthy. Naturally thin is one thing. Being able to count someone's vertebrae through a winter coat is another. With all the focus on the non-smoking house, role model stuff, you'd think they'd spend a little time on nutrition and how to maintain your modeling figure without damaging your internal organs or losing tooth enamal. That's a better role model. You don't want little girls to see smoking? Edit out the smoking. But don't put one "normal" girl on the show and let another contestant call her "fat".

I was shocked to see Aimee go home. I thought she was awesome and normally this show loves to bring the shy girl out of her shell...
Stacey-Ann is just sliding by and I don't know why... She should have gotten the boot long before Aimee.
Even though I think the other girls are being a little immature, I HATE Dominique. She is driving me nuts!
Oh and the photo shoot with Nigel was only sketchy because this show is always pushing for the girls to be high fashion, not something out of a men's magazine, but those pics could have graced the pages of Maxim in a second. Not to say they weren't good, because they were smokin hot, but that is sort of a mixed message...

Sorry, but I didn't like Claire AT ALL this week. I thought she was mature and together, but she completely acted like a child this week. I expect this kind of thing from Whitney and even Dominique at this point, but I was shocked and dismayed at Claire and was hoping she'd go home. I know Dominique can be difficult, but it's saying something when she was actually the most level-headed person in that whole argument.

And I didn't like the way Claire reacted to her name being called at the end. I thought it was disrespectful to Aimee.

Tyra has gotten good at manufacturing drama. Dominique is a drama ringer. She won't leave for a while.

I agree, it was somewhat uncalled for by Claire to shout out like that when her name was called. Aimee was obviously very upset, and that half-assed hug Claire gave her as she trotted past wasn't sincere at all.

As far as the abundance of super-skinnies on the show this season, nothing beats those twins from a few seasons back. They were both extreeeeeemely skinny, and made me uncomfortable to see them in the skantily clad photo-shoots. Fatima can almost swing it, as she has that exotic look about her, but it's pushing the envelope.

And why do they have to have a "token" "fat" girl on the show? Why can't they just pick people based on how they work the runway/clothes/etc, not how they rock the scale? I like Whitney and I think everyone would like her more if she didn't have a wall in front of her because she knows she is there for a certain demographic.

unfortunately, claire was less gracious than usual when she was selected over aimee. aimee should've stayed over stacy-ann, who's cute-sy but not model-esque.

dominique deserved what she got. you just don't set your alarm to go off early in the morning and waking everyone up. and then she tried to pull that "oh-woe-is-me" act???

You only get one chance to breastfeed, while the show will continue on for quite some time.

Claire currently tops my list of favorites this cycle, but I agree with ER that she was a bit immature, and with Cat and MT that her "YAY! I'M CLAIRE! MY NAME WAS JUST CALLED!" bit at judging was a little uncalled for.
(Ha! "Uncalled." Ha...okay, not funny.)

Anyway, is it just me, or did the producers make it EXTREMELY obvious from the beginning of the episode that Aimee and Claire were going to be in the bottom two this week? Aimee was talking about her Mormon-ness in a newbie/too-young-for-the-industry/competition way, and Claire was starting to crack.
But, even though Aimee definitely grew on me, I knew she would be the next to go at the end of last week's episode, so this came as more of a bordering-on-pleasant surprise than a letdown.

And once again, Dominique continues to make me dislike her. What's new?

As for who's-getting-eliminated-before-the-top-six-(OMGSQUEEE!!)-predictions, I think Stacy-Ann is on thin ice. I like Fatima, but unless she continues to perform like she did this week, she'll be on the chopping block. Lauren and Dominique are also at risk, and I wouldn't be surprised if I were to see Anya in the bottom two.
Here's hoping that Claire, Katarzyna, Fatima, Whitney, Anya, and Lauren will be in the final six.

I desperately need to know why they all scream like Beatles-era bobbysoxers every time there's Tyra-mail or an announcement of any kind? I could understand it when there were like 20-30 of them (easy to get caught up in the moment), but hey, it's narrowing down now, and it just sounds kind of silly and hollow to scream like that every time something, however minor, happens. ("Okay, girls...we're going to the supermarket!"***SCREAMS***)

Any why do girls who have issues with nudity (like our departed friend Aimee) even WANT to get into the modeling business? If they do a little research, they'll see that it's not all cute and safe, like Seventeen Magazine. Have they ever actually looked in Vogue? There's quite a bit of skin in high fashion, and let's not even talk about how much nudity is going on backstage at a runway show!!! There's no time to chastely cover up when you have 1.4 seconds to put on a whole monster of a dress and get back out there. You just strip it off, zip it on, and go!!

I agree with Annie about the baby/breast-feeding thing. I couldn't possibly imagine leaving a baby at home to go do something like this. Maybe when they're a little older and have a bit more independence, but an infant?? Seems kind of cruel to me.

I'll stop ranting now.

Ok, why is Stacy-Ann still in the "Running to be America's Next Top Model"?!?! And am I ever sick to death of how many times Tyra says that in one show! She is horrible at posing, takes lousy photos, and what adult woman goes by the name of Stacy-Ann??

Anya's secret nude photo shoot was very creepy. But these girls need to realize, when they do runway, theyll be stripping down to nothing during warddrobe changes, in front of EVERYBODY, men and women. Get over being prude, all modesty will go out the window once they get in the real world of modeling. Where is Anya from anyway? Her accent is very annoying.

Dominique is NOT top model material. Her nose bugs me (good call on the Barbra reference!). Along with her attitude, and Unibrow (another good call!). I think I would have shoved that alarm clock up her great big snoz!

Fatima creeps me out. The combo of her skeletal teeth, mile high forehead, and the fact that she needs to eat. I know models need to be thin, but she looks downright ill! I always thought Jaslene from a few seasons ago was awfully thin too.

My personal favorite is Lauren. Yeah, shes awkward, but man, she takes great photos and has perfect bone structure. I dont think she'll make it though. She's horrible on runway.

I dont think Id call Whitney a plus size either. She doesnt seem all that 'plus' to me. Just a normal curvy. I couldnt believe it when last week when Vendela said she was average looking, and I thought "gee, Vendela, she looks like YOU!"

Anyway, those are my thoughts. Anybody agree, disagree?

I didn't like how Claire acted completely immature this episode.

I'm still waiting for Lauren to smile in a photo. To me it seems as though she has the same face in each photo. I really like her though and I hope she goes far (if not win).

I loooooooved Tyra in the posing lesson. She was freaking hilarious, and it's those kind of times that I appreciate how great of a model she truly will always be.

Myrna: Don't worry. As the group gets smaller and smaller, the excitment goes down. There was one time where a girl read the Tyra-mail all by herself (no one was near her). I forget which cycle that was.

I think it's sorta similar to criticize someone for being skinny and to criticize someone for being fat.

I can not stand Dominique!! She is so stupid and always talks in 3rd person. I was gald to see Claire, Whitney, and Lauren stand up to her. M favorite is Whitney and I also don't think that she is plus sixed. I wish I were her size!

I don't think that Fatima is very pretty or a Top Model.

Interesting point about the name. Imagine an adult white woman named DD-Ann. I knew a young girl who went by that. Wonder what they call 'er now? Don't get what exactly Stacy-Anne is doing there either really, but you can say that about a lot of the other contestants on this show and previous ones actually, so... Dominique is also obviously a drama-queen to the hilt, which explains why she has not been booted off, IMO. Agree about Claire especially the way she acted with Dominique.

I cannot believe that Claire has all the support she does... How does she continue to win the COVERGIRL thing??

She was rude and immature. I liked her before - she was not my FAVORITE, but I liked her.

The more she lowers herself and her actions to bring others down, the more I dislike her. She was so mean - the kind of person you never want to have to deal with in real life. GROW UP!

I mean the way she talked about Dom when she could OBVIOUSLY hear her and even after she POLITELY asked her to stop... it was pathetic.

My thought is this... As a mother (same age as Claire) I know that I would not want to set an example like that for my daughter. In fact, I think she should apologize to Dominique - who might have a little issue with over-confidence, but is not there to fight with little girls - and spend the rest of the show making it up to her fans and covergirl and ANTM.

She needs to prove that she is worthy of the title after that little TANTRUM on 3/26.

OH and lets not forget how her photo shoot was horrible this week... and please! Country? Thats easy.. just be sweet and bubbly, lots of energy and SMILE!!! What happened? I believe it had a lot to do with all the negativity surrounding her... she (along with her "mean girl" groupies - Lauren and Whitney) got herself into that mess with Dominique and it brought her down.

Dominique on the other thrived on the energy that being BULLIED can give you.

All this being said .... I want to say what I think about the rest of the contestants and my predictions!

Lauren - a follower this episode ... but before that, I was rooting for her awkwardness to carry her through to the final 3 or 4. I still would like to see her go on a bit farther... just to stay out of the DRAMA.

Anya - She is really sweet and takes great pictures. They have not shown her into anyone's drama yet. I hope she stays like that!

Stacy-Ann - HUH? Why is she still on? I think she is a little boring - unmemorable. She should go next.

Katarzyna - (sorry if I spelled it wrong!) She is a good looking girl - but a little MENS magazine if you ask me... though i think the hair but will REALLY improve her chances.

Whitney - She is that girl you all went to High School with who thought she was SO awesome and could talk badly about anyone because her crap don't stink. She is immature and MEAN-spirited... Always trying to cause a fight. I was happy to see a so called "plus sized" model with confidence finally, BUT she is just MEAN.

Claire - I think I have expressed my opinion about her enough. Let me just add that she is TOO rehearsed in "HIGH FASHION" posing... It was actually FUNNY to watch her do all those contorted poses in her "country western" picture!

Fatima - I was really in support of her at the beginning. I cannot imagine going through the things she has - with the genital mutilation and fleeing her country as a child... I wanted to see her fight for this and then use her win to help the people who may be in the place she was as a child. BUT she has made it hard. Still, I like her more than Whitney and Claire, and she is getting better. OH and PS the shaving thing - that was rude of everyone to hate like that - I am sure it was a cultural practice to not shave.

Dominique- Ok you know what? I have mixed feelings. I see your point, she is a pit overwhelming with the 3rd person... but she is, at heart, a genuine person with good intentions. She is not judging the others or talking about them behind their backs. She fights back - to a point. She says what she has to and then leaves it be. She doesn't swear and cuss people out... PLUS she is very photogenic and can take kick-*ss pics! Which I did not think at first - I thought she was too hard looking! But she has come around! I want her to win now.

I know it can be hard to live with someone like Dominique who may be selfish and insensitive but the latest episode really turn me off, seeing a supposedly mature Claire (who is oldest btw), a supposedly shy and demure Lauren and a supposedly fun Whitney all turn to become mean school girls where they happily be put down Dominique.

If you haven't realise, the main "crime" Dominique has committed is over self-indulgence. She didn't start any arguments but somehow others just like to pick on her and made her become such a defensive person.

So with the last episode, they totally switch places in my heart, at least Dominque is true to herself and she really wants to win this, not like the mean school girls who are there to pick a fight only.

i can't understand why everyone seems to think that Claire was out of line at all in this episode. I don't think anyone knows the extent of how obnoxious it must be to be in the same house as Domofreak! under all the pressure of the competition, the exxageration of the editing, I probably would have treated Dom the SAME way....But maybe I'm immature. Nobody's perfect. ....... EXCEPT TYRA!!!!
