Gossip Girl fans were relieved last night when they learned that Serena wasn't quite the murderer she had made herself out to be...but I don't want to be spoiling things for you!  If you missed Woman on the Verge, catch it again on the CW at 6 p.m. on Sunday.  Read on if you dare...spoilers ahead!

So we finally learned exactly what happened on the night that Serena decided to leave town, and we learned what was on the incriminating video that Georgina has been using to blackmail Serena.  Basically, Georgina convinced this guy (who happens to be a coke addict) that when Serena came over to the hotel where they were, she would have sex with him, and Georgina even set up a hidden video camera to capture the whole thing.  But after Serena left the wedding, she was so distraught from having slept with Nate (Blair's boyfriend at the time) that she wasn't interested at all.  She tries to get out of it by suggesting that they do a few lines of coke.  After he does a line, he goes into a seizure, so Serena calls out for Georgina.  When she gets to the room, Serena is already calling 911, but Georgina tells her to hang up because they would get busted for having the drugs.  They run out of the hotel, and decide to split up, but Serena is too concerned to leave, so she waits across the street and finally sees the paramedics carrying the guy out in a body bag.

Phew!  Basically, Serena's only crime was handing this guy his drugs.  She's done nothing wrong, but she is blaming herself for the whole thing. 

So, fast-forward to the present.  The morning after Serena spills her secret to Blair, Blair is calling both Nate and Chuck and begging them to come over for help; they get there and find that Serena is a wreck.  Apparently she went out to a bar the night before because she was so upset, and it took Blair all night to find her...BUT to Serena's credit, she remembers the entire night, and she knows that she didn't do anything all that wrong.  When Dan, who's concerned over the fact that his girlfriend didn't come home that night, shows up at Blair's, he's weirded out to see Nate, Chuck, and Blair all together, since they hate each other.  Blair says that Serena doesn't want to see Dan, but she comes downstairs anyway.  Dan starts jumping to conclusions, and he asks if she cheated on him...and she says YES.  Oh foolish teenagers.  Serena decided to lie because she thought that Dan would really hate her if she told him about how she "killed" someone, but she definitely did NOT sleep with anyone.  After Dan storms off, Serena spills everything to her friends, who are mostly pissed off that Georgina is trying to blackmail her.

While all this is going on, there are two major other events: 1.) Lily is still planning her wedding, and 2.) Rufus and his band are preparing for a concert sponsored by Rolling Stone magazine.  Georgina, still pretending to be "Sara," goes with Dan to the concert, and a few people recognize her and call out, "Georgina!"  Dan is a little weirded out, but he doesn't think much of it.  Vanessa is also at the concert, and she's invited her new almost-boyfriend Nate.  When she tells him that "Sara" is at the concert, he explains that she's not who she says she is.  Vanessa confronts Georgina while Nate calls up Blair and Chuck and lets them know where Georgina is.  Dan finds Georgina crying, and she explains that she's not really "Sara" and her real name is Georgina...but she makes up a ridiculous story about how she had to change her name and move away because an ex-boyfriend was trying to hurt her (BS!).  Right before his father's band is about to go on, Georgina asks if Dan wants to go get coffee somewhere so they can talk about it, and she admits that she's "falling for" him.

At Lily's pre-wedding dinner party, Serena shows up with Blair.  Lily lets Serena know that she's seen the tape (which she stopped watching mid-way, so she believes that it's a sex tape).  She's upset and tells Serena that she's going to send her to reformatory school.  Serena tells Blair, and Blair confronts Lily and tells her the whole truth.  Lily decides that the best way for Serena to move on is to take her to the coke-addict's family.  They don't show Serena actually meeting them, but when she is leaving their home Lily points out that the family even said he was a coke addict, and that it was only a matter of time.  Serena feels better now that she knows his family doesn't blame her at all, but she knows she needs to make up with Dan, so Lily takes her to Rufus' concert. 

Blair, Chuck, and Nate show up to the concert, where Vanessa tells them that Georgina has left, and that she doesn't know where Dan is.  They start looking for Dan when Serena's cell phone goes off, and Dan's name pops up on the caller ID...except it's actually Georgina on the other line.  And she tells Serena that she's going to have sex with Dan.  Serena says that he's "too good" to do that, but after Georgina hangs up and Dan comes back with their coffee, the two end up making out.

(Speaking of making out, I should mention that Lily and Rufus ended up making out after his concert as well...which wasn't the best idea, since she is engaged to Chuck's father...)

So to sum up, I hate Georgina Sparks, and I'm really upset with Dan.  One good rule of thumb is that you should give yourself at LEAST a full day after you break up with someone before making out with someone else...

Tell me: HOW MUCH DO YOU HATE GEORGINA?  And what did you think of the episode?  I was bummed that Jenny was M.I.A., and I was even MORE bummed that Blair and Chuck never got the chance to tear Georgina limb from limb...

And what are your predictions for next week?

I hate Georgina since 'Buffy the vampire slayer' xD but she is really hot!

Jenny? who's Jenny? I've heard she will not appear in the season finale...

And S' brother? in a gay club partying? xD

Those 2 characters are unnecessary for the show due to yesterday's episode ratings : 2.5 millions
