Gossip Girl - Zap2it's Guide to Gossip Girl

Rejoice Gossip Girl fans, because the strike is over, and we have pictorial proof that the cast is hard at work filming new drama-filled episodes that will grace our TV screens in a matter of weeks...  PopSugar posted pics of Leighton Meester and Chace Crawford (or ex-girlfriend and boyfriend Blair and Nate) filming a scene in the pouring rain in New York City on Thursday.

The pics are awesome; Blair is caught in a downpour, her trench coat completely soaked, in another Breakfast at Tiffany's moment (remember the beginning of Bad News Blair?).  In other pics, we see a perfectly groomed Nate shielded from the rain by a huge umbrella.  Perhaps symbolism that their break-up has ruined Blair, but left Nate unharmed? 

Chace Crawford is keeping busy off the set too...Perez Hilton is reporting that there are rumors that he's cheated on Carrie Underwood again!

Alright, I can't take this anymore!  I'm downloading Gossip Girl episodes on iTunes right now.  I miss it so much...I can't wait until April 21st for new episodes!

I'm wondering, was it raining in NYC or was it 'created' rain for the scene? Just curious.

I live in NYC and all yesterday an the day b4 it was raning so it def culd be real but im not sure. they mite hav donee sumthin in silvr cup studios
