Nancy gets a job on 'Weeds'
Monday (Sept. 3) night's Weeds was dedicated to Nancy Botwin getting her first seemingly legitimate job (appropriate for Labor Day, I guess) and meeting her new employer, who may not be so legitimate himself.
'Weeds' embraces change
"It's good to embrace change, right?" So claimed Nancy Botwin during Monday (Aug. 27) night's Weeds. She might as well have reached out through the TV to give viewers a helpful nudge. Change? Embrace change? Do we get it yet?
A pot-infused baptism on 'Weeds'
Of the four episodes of Weeds sent to critics this summer, Monday (Aug. 20) night's was probably the least successful, a somewhat tonally disjointed half-hour. But I understand what the producers thought they had to do.
