'Sister Wives' gets a scare when Truely goes to the emergency room
The "Sister Wives" are in for a scare Sunday (Jan. 26) when Truely, Christine's youngest child, has a medical emergency.
In the above preview clip, third-wife Christine talks about how Truely -- whom she gave birth to during the first season of the show -- has been lethargic and sleepy for a while now, but then suddenly her eyes started crossing and Christine thought she better take her to the doctor.
However, the pediatrician sends Christine and Truely to the emergency room, warning Christine of things like kidney failure and meningitis. Bacterial meningitis can be particularly dangerous for young children, so Christine is pretty freaked out, as are her sister wives when she texts them she's headed to the ER.
We think since there was nothing in the news about anything happening to Truely that she probably comes out of it OK, but still -- scary stuff.
"Sister Wives" airs Sunday nights at 9 p.m. ET/PT on TLC.
