'Sons of Anarchy' - 'Wolfsangel' preview: Tig's fate, the Irish and Darby's back
The fourth episode of "Sons of Anarchy" Season 6, "Wolfsangel," is close and it's an important one. First and foremost, it answers the question posed at the end of the last episode, whether Tig (Kim Coates) will live or die.
At the end of "Poenitentia" it looked like Tig has been set up by Jax (Charlie Hunnam) to be killed, with the president showing no real remorse. Now comes the aftermath. The photos and promo released for the episode keep things ambiguous, as Tig shows up in a couple of the images, but the Sons are also seen burning a club vest in what looks like a shallow grave.
There's also the gun deal with the Irish. Jax came up with a way to get SAMCRO out of the gun trade, so they try to earn legal money. However, many things need to happen just right for the new deal to work out and it looks like that's not in the cards for now, leading to a pretty intense meeting of the minds between the club and the Irish.
It's not all bad news though, as Darby (Mitch Peliggi) is back and he's a changed man. He'll still have to get a bit dirty, though. When Jax and the boys are involved, nothing is as clean or easy as it might seem. Another familiar face pops up as well, with "Terminator 2: Judgement Day" star Robert Patrick appearing as the president of the Sons of Anarchy San Bernardino charter.
Finally, "Wolfsangel" sees more than it's fair share of bloodshed. By the time the credits roll, the body count won't exactly be low.
"Sons of Anarchy" airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on FX.
