'Game of Thrones' Season 4 set photos show Purple Wedding preparations
Filming on what is sure to be one of the biggest events in "Game of Thrones" Season 4 is underway. Dubbed the Purple Wedding by readers of the "A Song of Ice and Fire" novels, the wedding brings together to of the show's major characters.
Set photos from the scene seemingly taken by an extra were posted to Reddit. For those viewers looking to go into Season 4 unspoiled, the photos do include some clues as to who is getting married and where the wedding is being set, but no major spoilers.
Minor spoilers ahead: For the rest of you out there, all the imagery of lions and stags should clue you off to the fact that this is indeed Joffrey Baratheon's wedding. These set photos look like they show preparations for the massive wedding festivities, which Tyrion discussed would break the Royal Bank in Season 3. Conleth Hill's Varys can be seen with Jack Gleeson's Joffrey in one photo. Also, anyone else craving a slice of that wedding cake? End spoilers.
