Juliette Lewis joins M. Night Shyamalan's 'Wayward Pines' FOX series
Juliette Lewis is the latest person to join the cast of M. Night Shyamalan's new FOX series "Wayward Pines." According to Deadline, she'll play Beverly, "a warm and approachable small-town bartender who doesn't mince words."
Expect Lewis to have plenty of screen time with Matt Dillon's character Ethan. Deadline reports that Ethan "quickly learns" Beverly is "just as wary of Wayward Pines as he is." Ethan is a Secret Service agent on the hunt for two missing federal agents in the town of Wayward Pines, Idaho, though he quickly realizes he's in over his head.
Based on the best-selling novel of the same name, Shyamalan's new project is described as a "mind-bending" thriller set in a small town where nothing is what it seems. It's lined up an impressive ensemble cast that rivals that of most movies, featuring the talents of Terrence Howard, Carla Gugino, Melissa Leo and Toby Jones.
"Wayward Pines" is set to premiere on FOX in 2014.
