'America's Got Talent' Season 8 premiere: Anna Christine and Tone the Chiefrocca wow the judges
"America's Got Talent" returned to NBC Tuesday night (June 4) with auditions in San Antonio, New York City and Los Angeles. There were several routines sent on to Las Vegas, but two stood out.
In NYC, 10-year-old Anna Christine (video above) impressed the judges with her singing and piano playing talent on "House of the Rising Sun." Howard called her a superstar and Mel B. praised her depth, while Howie and Heidi were just blown away that she's only 10 years old.
Then later in LA, Tone the Chiefrocca and his brother Cody busted out "B-DOUBLE-O-T-Y," an original song that they hope is a one-hit wonder. It did earn a standing ovation from the crowd. Heidi quipped that he had "the booties itching to dance" and Howard said they remind him of Psy.
The song also inspired Heidi to grind on Howard, which is a lot of fun.
What did you think of the "AGT" premiere?
