'True Blood' Season 6 trailer teases 'no one lives forever' - and shirtless Alexander Skarsgard
The vampires of "True Blood" have never been worse off than they are in the show's upcoming sixth season. A new full-length trailer for the series has arrived and promises that the humans will do their best to eliminate the vampire race in the forthcoming episodes.
Unfortunately for Sookie, that means she's caught in the crossfire once again. But she still attests that she wants her normal life back -- if she ever really had one -- even though there's a shirtless Eric she could be dealing with. That leave-me-alone mentality doesn't stop her from learning about her fairy magic though, or taking the time to have a pretty hardcore makeout session.
"True Blood" returns to HBO on June 16 at 9 p.m. ET. Star Stephen Moyer directs the premiere episode, "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood." He also directed the eighth episode of Season 5, "Somebody That I Used To Know." Unlike previous seasons, there will only be 10 episodes in Season 6. Also, that song in the trailer is Delta Rae's "Bottom of the River."
