'Spartacus: War of the Damned' finale: What did you think of 'Victory'?
History has always dictated how Starz' "Spartacus" series was going to end, but fans who have been following since the show debuted in 2010 now got to see that story come to fruition. The series finale," Victory," has finally aired with an ending everyone has been anticipating this entire time: Spartacus' death.
Of course, it wouldn't be a very good finale if there weren't more to it the story than that. Spartacus and Crassus' one-on-one battle was pretty epic, and it was nice that not all of Spartacus' followers were killed. Of course, there were plenty of deaths this episode beyond just Spartacus', with viewers having to say goodbye to characters like Gannicus, Naevia, Lugo, Castus and Saxa as well.
Considering what a down note "Spartacus: War of the Damned" could have ended on, it is nice that the finale did conclude somewhat positively. But did longtime viewers find it emotionally satisfying, or not climactic enough for their tastes? Vote in our polls below and let us know what you thought of the finale in the comments.
