'Walking Dead' exclusive photos Season 3 episode 13: Daryl takes action in 'Arrow on the Doorpost'

What role will Daryl play in Rick's negotiations with the Governor in "Arrow on the Doorpost," this week's episode of "The Walking Dead"?

We'll have to wait until Sunday to find out, but these two exclusive photos of Norman Reedus from the episode suggest Daryl won't be entirely on the sidelines.

What's the deal with the horse? The episode's original title was "Pale Horse," so that may have something to do with it.

AMC has also released the following pair of episodic stills of Rick and the Governor. We know from the "Talking Dead" clip (embedded below) that they'll at least attempt Andrea's suggestion of diplomacy. What are the odds that works out?
