The next 'Bachelorette' is Desiree Hartsock

After all the Sean Lowe-Catherine Giudici hullabaloo on "The Bachelor" reunion "After the Final Rose," the show announced the next "Bachelorette" -- Desiree Hartsock.

Desiree was famously booted from the show after a less-than-stellar hometown date with her family, where her brother kind of sabotaged her relationship with Sean. Not that the brother was the only reason she was eliminated, but it sure didn't help.

"I can't even believe I'm here. With the support of everyone, it's such a blessing. I'm so thankful," says Desiree, on the "After the Final Rose" special. "I'm just overcome with happiness."

Over the course of the season, Dez was alternately goofy, funny, sincere and adorable. She will make a terrific next "Bachelorette," we must say. What do you think, "Bachelor" show fans?
