'The Bachelorette': Desiree Hartsock 'will do a really good job,' Lindsay Yenter not approached

the-bachelor-sean-lowe-lindsay-catherine-desiree.jpgThe other big news during the "Bachelor" After the Final Rose live reunion special -- in addition to Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici announcing they want to get married on TV for ABC -- is that Desiree Hartsock has been revealed to be the next "Bachelorette." Catherine says Desiree is a great choice.

"I really like Desiree. I think she's going to do a really good job," says Giudici. "She's really sweet and she's really pretty. I think she obviously has really good intentions, so [I wish] nothing but the best for her."

Viewers might have been surprised that it wasn't runner-up Lindsay Yenter who was chosen, but she says she was not approached to do it.

"I think that the producers and I were on the same page," says Yenter. "This was a great experience being on 'The Bachelor,' but I just want a normal life. I love teaching, I love the normal stuff. I'm not really looking to be on another TV show."

As for reports that Yenter has already found love, she plays coy -- "I have my eye on somebody. I'm not ready to talk about it publicly yet."

What do you think, viewers? Is Desiree the right choice for "Bachelorette"?
