Taye Diggs, Kathleen Robertson return to TV in Steven Bochco's 'Murder in the First'

Taye Diggs and Kathleen Robertson are rebounding together from recently canceled shows with the TNT drama pilot "Murder in the First" from executive producer Steven Bochco.

Diggs ("Private Practice") and Robertson ("Boss") will play San Francisco homicide detectives attempting to get to the bottom of a particularly baffling investigation.

TV veteran Bochco ("NYPD Blue," "L.A. Law") co-created the show with Eric Lodal. Bochco's last series, legal drama "Raising the Bar," also aired on TNT.
