'Saturday Night Live': Justin Timberlake responds to Kanye West's diss
Last week, Kanye West took to the stage to slam Justin Timberlake's latest single "Suit & Tie" -- an odd choice, considering West's frequent partner Jay-Z is featured on Timberlake's track. "I got love for Hov, but I ain't f***ing with that 'Suit & Tie,'" West said during a London performance, going on a rant about the Grammys he hasn't won and the commercialization of music today -- including, apparently, "Suit & Tie," which has been used in Budweiser commercials. "Can I sell your drink for you, please? So you can help me put on a better show, please, corporations? Can you please support me, please? Me, Kanye West? I swear I'm a nice n**** now. I swear I'll put the pink Polo back on."
On "Saturday Night Live" this weekend, Timberlake responded -- though not in a monologue or a skit. His retort was much more subtle. In "Suit and Tie," there's one lyric that goes "s*** so sick, took a hit and picked up a habit." Timberlake changed the lyric to "my hits so sick, got rappers acting dramatic."
