'Boardwalk Empire' Season 4 adds Jeffrey Wright as full-time cast member

jeffrey-wright-boardwalk-empire-season-4.jpgEmmy winner Jeffrey Wright is joining the cast of HBO's "Boardwalk Empire" in Season 4.

Deadline reports Wright will play Valentin Narcisse, a "Doctor of Divinity, philanthropist, student of culture and the man who runs Harlem."

Sounds like he could be a formidable foe for Nucky, now that Gyp Rosetti is gone. Or maybe Narcisse will be an ally?

"Boardwalk" also recently added Ron Livingston and Brian Gerghaty to its ensemble.

Wright won an Emmy and a Golden Globe for his supporting turn in HBO's miniseries "Angels in America" and also played Martin Luther King Jr. in the HBO telefilm "Boycott."

He'll soon be seen on the big screen in "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire," and the portrait of his new character, Beetee, was just released today.
