That's Oscar number two for Quentin Tarantino. The writer/director snagged his second trophy at the 85th Academy Awards, winning Best Original Screenplay for "Django Unchained." He previously won the same award, with Roger Avary, for 1995's for "Pulp Fiction."

Tarantino accepted the award from Dustin Hoffman and Charlize Theron, who happens to be his neighbor. He went on to say the only way anyone will remember his movies is due to the characters he creates, crediting the people he casts for bringing them to life.

When the Academy tried to play him off, Quentin kept on talking. Eventually the music stopped, and he continued. In the end, Tarantino spoke of his fellow nominees, proclaiming this the a "writer's year."

This was the second award for "Django Unchained," as Christoph Waltz won for Best Supporting Actor.
