Oscars 2013: Ang Lee surprises as Best Director winner

Did anyone see that one coming? With Ben Affleck off the table, it was a toss up as to who would win Best Director at the 85th Academy Awards. You all thought Steven Spielberg should win when we asked you to vote for your favorite, but it ended up being "Life of Pi" helmer Ang Lee who took home the Oscar gold.
This isn't the first time Lee has won in the category. He was nominated back in 2000 for "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon," and earned his first win in 2005 for "Brokeback Mountain."
"Life of Pi" has already won Best Cinematography, Best Original Score and Best Visual Effects.
