Dame
Maggie Smith
is one of the fans' favorite parts of
"Downton Abbey."
Her Lady Violet, the Dowager Countess is always quick with a quip, but also so much of the heart of the show. However, Smith says she's never actually watched the British import.
"I haven't actually seen it, so I don't -- I don't sit down and watch it," Smith tells "60 Minutes." "No, I haven't watched it."
She adds that it's not because she doesn't want to see the show, which she is very proud of.
"It's frustrating [to watch oneself]. I always see things that I would like to do differently and think, 'Oh, why in the name of God did I do that?'"
Smith's "60 Minutes" interview airs Sunday, Feb. 17 on CBS. The "Downton Abbey" Season 3 finale airs the same night on PBS.
