Jane Lynch named host of 'Hollywood Game Night' at NBC

jane-lynch-host-hollywood-game-night-gi.jpgJane Lynch has been named host of "Hollywood Game Night," a new kind of game show from NBC and Sean Hayes, of "Will & Grace" and "Hot in Cleveland" fame.

The "Glee" star and future Miss Hannigan will play host to celebrities and their fans in a cocktail party atmosphere, reminiscent of Hayes' own at-home game nights. Cash prizes are on the table as "everyday people" join entertainment, sports, and political figures in pop culture-based contests.

As play goes on, booze is poured, hors d'oeuvres are passed, and music plays. Because what celebrity game night would be complete without a live band?

"I'm so thrilled to let the world in on the fun with Sean at 'Game Night,'" says Lynch. "The format is sure to provide a lot of unexpected results that will keep everyone off-balance and entertained."

Hayes partners with Todd Milliner ("Grimm," "Hot in Cleveland") to produce the hour-long show that NBC has already given an 8-episode order.
