TV Ratings: 'Fringe' finale goes quietly, CBS wins the night

fringe-513-peter-observer.jpgFOX said goodbye to "Fringe" on Friday night with a two-hour finale episode, and though ratings were up a bit from last week's penultimate "Fringe" Friday, that's not saying much. It did come out about even with last year's Season 4 finale.

CBS easily led the night in average viewers, with 10.5 million viewers and a 6.7 rating/11 share in households. It was followed by ABC, with 5.3 million (3.4/6) and NBC with 4.6 million (3.1/5). FOX's "Fringe" event averaged 3.2 million viewers (1.9/3) and The CW had 1.08 million (0.7/1).

CBS won the night in the 18-49 demo, with a 1.7 rating. ABC (1.3) and NBC (1.1) took second and third place, and "Fringe" earned FOX a 1.0. The CW trailed with a 0.4.
