Ryan Murphy tweets photo of his baby son, Logan
Who needs formal baby announcements when you have Twitter? Not Ryan Murphy. The writer and producer tweeted the first public photo of his new baby son, Logan, on Tuesday afternoon (Jan. 1).Murphy, the creator/producer of "Glee," "American Horror Story" and "The New Normal," became a first-time father -- along with husband David Miller -- on Dec. 24. News media got hold of the announcement.story quickly via an e-mail sent to friends on that day. A photo of the newborn Logan was reportedly included in the message. The public, however, had to wait until the New Year to get a glimpse of little Logan Phineas Miller Murphy.
The tweet from Murphy was simple and to the point:
"Thanks to everyone for the kind wishes. Logan is one week old and doing great. Happy new year!"
Along with the message was an attached photo of the little boy, wrapped in a blue blanket embroidered with his name.
Recently, Ryan Murphy has been quiet on his once-active Twitter account. Without explanation, the man deleted all of his former posts shortly before the holidays and had only posted various Christmas greetings since then. The arrival of Murphy's son may account for at least some of the decreased activity.
