CBS renews 'The Bold and the Beautiful,' 'The Talk,' 'Price is Right,' 'Let's Make a Deal'

CBS is keeping its daytime line-up intact, officially renewing "The Bold and the Beautiful," "The Talk" and gameshow duo "The Price is Right" and "Let's Make a Deal" for the 2013-2014 season.

The quartet airs alongside "The Young and the Restless," which had a previous multi-year commitment from the network, on CBS' daytime schedule.

"Over the past few years, we have successfully transitioned our daytime schedule to a balance of program genres with new creative energy, while maintaining our ratings leadership," CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler said in a statement.

"Price is Right" remains daytime's most-watched show, while "Y&R" is the top-rated daytime drama (and has been for 24 years). CBS also notes that "B&B," "The Talk" and "Deal" have all posted season-to-season growth in total viewers.
